Good location with a view of Arenal Volcano. Short walk from shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Lovely pool. We also booked some amazing excursions through the hotel.

Location was great, walkable to many restaurants and activities. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the hosts of this property were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is tasty as well! Overall we loved our stay here, and great value for the money!

Loved everything, but the rooms were a little bit empty with not much storage space. Maybe they could put in a bedside table or a bit more space to store bags.

Great location Lovely breakfast staff were great, with someone on site to help with any activities you would want. Gave us restaurant recommendations and offered us tour packages. Room cleaned every day and towels changed. They let us leave our car and bags there after we checked out!

At night the music from the bar down the street was very loud. Luckily we had an app on our phone for fan noise, that we used to block out the music. The rooms and bathrooms do need to be updated.

The property was close to town. The breakfast provided was very good. The staff was friendly and quick to answer any questions and to help out with any issues that arise.

The facility is kind of old and shower water temperature changes rapidly by itself so it's hard to take shower. There is no shampoo, conditioner or body wash supplied. So we went to the closest supermarket to purchase some. Wifi is slow and not very stable. Sometimes salamander (very cute) can be found in our room. big beetles can be found on hallway outside our rooms.

There was music from the other accommodation at night

As with most buildings in Costa Rica, the sound insulation is minimal, which doesn't help when you are a light sleeper. We had some problems with a night club that had just reopened and who were not following the rules for noise and opening hours, but the hotel was doing it's best to get this stopped.

The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was basic but OK for two days. Close to restaurants and shops. But also to a busy road, so earplugs were needed to sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

There is a late night bar, just behind some of the rooms of the hotel. they play extremely loud music until 3am making it impossible to sleep. on some nights heavy rain masked the issue but when not not on others.

Breakfast was fixed and the same every day (rice, beans, egg, toast, fruit). Balcony seating was a plastic bench, not very comfy. Room was a bit plain.
