The breakfast was nothing special.... Just re heated rice with beans and a french omelette.

Location is good if you plan to take bus to go somewhere else. Perfect for 1 night. Their cat is so pretty...

They say they start serving breakfast at 5am, however had to ask the guy in reception to make the breakfast as had the bus to catch at 6am. Reluctantly he made breakfast at 5:25 Room was way to small, barely had space to walk let alone space for luggage

I personally didn't think it was worth the money. I stayed here because lots of other travelers mentioned staying here. Which due to the proximity to the bus stations makes sense. For one night just between travel its quite fine and will accommodate your needs. The showers were cold, the lockers are in the main reception area instead of in rooms, the kitchen is really small for the size of the hostel. I'm not sure if you have to ask reception for the free breakfast? I never saw it out.

They will make you breakfast whenever you need it - 5am for me. Which was a great way to start the day. Close to the buses.

The outside of the hostel is very off putting and the signage is all but falling off the wall - a pity!

Excellent staff support. Location was good-very close to one bus station, but you need an Uber to get to the others. Easy Walking distance to museum and shops. Great interior wall paintings. Hot showers if i recall. Wifi was ok. Free Breakfast served with a smile from 05.00 hours to 10.00 hours (amazing!)

it’s quite basic inside, beds are not that comfortable and the walls are thin so can be loud as with the majority of San Jose, the surrounding area is not nice and I didn’t feel safe to go out on my own

super friendly reception staff great location near to the bus station breakfast included even though I was only there for 1 night, met some really nice people and they have a great social area at the hostel - everyone sits and talks on the sofas hot water in the shower

As with most hostels, some curtaining round each bed would be good, and a light over each bunk bed. More hooks in the showers. All in all, a great hostel. Thanks

A very thoughtful touch by the Management, is to serve breakfast from 05.00 to 10.00. Thank you. Hot water showers, an area in which to relax, books. Plenty of lockers (not broken). Sockets for each bed. Lots of help. 24/7 Reception i think. Adequate kitchen. tea and coffee free, 24/7. I had a problem with my bank and my mobile wasn’t working, so the hostel kindly let me have the bank call me on its phone.

Whilst the location was great as its close to the bus stop....its not the best location if you're wanting to tour around the city. You're better off to go to other locations in San Jose. The beds are also super uncomfortable with a very thin mattress. I could feel every board underneath.....if I was staying longer this would have been unbearable.

Only stayed for a night as I was travelling to a new place by bus in the morning. The hostel is walking distance from a number of bus stations and also the supermarket. Hostel was perfectly fine for one night (lots of people seemed to be getting flights/buses the next day)...if you are deciding to stay longer 3+ nights then you may want to look at another location.

Neighborhood is a little sketchy. Breakfast is gallo pinto with scrambled eggs, it's exactly what to expect for a free breakfast. Pillow is quite thin. But beds are okay for one or two nights.

Location is nice, close to several bus stops. Couch is very comfortable and they let me stay hours after checkout to wait for the bus. Front door is always locked, so felt pretty safe to stay here.

Otherwise the area is bad and not so nice, lots of homeless people. Breakfast leaves you hungry, because the portions are really small.

It’s nearby all the bus stations in San José. A good place to sleep one night and continue next morning.
