Perfect place if you just need a place to stay while going out on your adventures. Helpful staff.

    • Double or Twin Room with Private Bathroom

Only two complaints. Our room was close to the restaurant/bar, so had to listen to loud music later than I would have liked, but in all fairness the music was usually before 10pm. The kitchen facilities were also not the greatest. Shared refrigerator and microwave. Looked a bit less clean than I felt comfortable in.

The room was no frills. minimal and pretty bare. For all intents and purposes, this place is a hostel with several 'full service rooms' with private bathrooms and air conditioning. If you just need a place to use as a base while you go out on your day trips, etc. then this is an excellent place to stay. There are also several small trails behind the property (about 1 mile long). Surprisingly these were very technical trails and a lot of fun. In fact during eth wet season I am sure they are even better. Also had a good time observing the monkeys that live near the trails. (At least 1 howler and a troop of squirrel monkeys)

I’m not usually too bothered by the heat but for some reason (building materials or that the rooms face the sun all day maybe) the rooms are like saunas at night. The ceiling fan does nothing to cool the room. In our 4 person dorm some people were so uncomfortable we slept with the door open. Noted by most guests.

The location is great. Easy access to Quepos & Manuel Antonio National Park. Towel provided which isn’t always the case at hostels. Shower gel too. Good but small kitchen so busy at peak times. Pool was great & saw lots of wildlife from the hostel. Lovely, helpful staff.

It’s just lacking some kitchen utensils, was always a queue to cook. Pans/ pots are very outdated. Only downside.

Pool area is an excellent place to chill next to the bar where you can get lovely food. Monkeys, birds, iguanas visit all the time, very close to nature at the pool. Quiet at night, bar the odd loud motorbike.

The hill in which the property is located on is rather steep which can’t be helped but maybe noted down. People kept throwing out our clearly labelled food and guests could not flush the toilet

Nice outdoor space and pool, good restaurant and the overall price was good

Dorm rooms could really use individual fans, I come from a very hot city and it was even too hot for me to sleep. More seating areas outside the restaurant would be good, there were a few tables scattered around but they were often all in use at night time.

Lovely setting with the jungle behind Teva and a wonderful pool. Restaurant had great food at prices comparable to the area. Plenty of showers (hot) and toilets for the dorm areas.

The mattress on the bed was lumpy.

The property backed on to the jungle and we were able to see heaps of wild animals. The pool was fantastic. The aircon in our room was great, as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating and access to the shared kitchen was great. Happy hour at the bar was fabulous and the restaurant was good.

The location of Room 106, It is in front of the hotel restaurant, and there is no privacy at the entrance and exit of the room! And in addition to that because of the proximity there is noise until 10 pm and from 6 am....

Extremely soft mattresses in the dorms, only possible to sleep on your back to avoid sinking in. Rooms are quite small and get super hot (no ac), mine had a slight smell also

    nothing really

Loved the whole 'vibe' of this place. Although it is mainly a place for young pack packers, my husband and I travelling with our grown up son and his girlfriend didn't feel out of place. We stayed for 2 nights in a room with bathroom and AC. The food and service were both excellent.

Our rooms (private with shared bathroom) did not have A/C, just a slow ceiling fan. It was very hot and difficult to sleep at night. We booked believing all rooms had A/C but it is only a select few, so definitely check this before you book.

Amazing swimming pool overlooking the jungle. There were walking paths around the property & lots of howler monkeys! Restaurant was delicious with great cocktails. Really social and easy to meet others. Lots of individual toilets/showers that were always available and clean.

-The Noise: Some rooms are very close to the main road, you hear trucks passing (hotel on a hill, so u will hear the trucks using their motor-break when going down). On the other hand, some rooms are very close to the restaurant area that has normally loud music. Therefore, bring earplugs and don't expect hearing only birds singling when heading to sleep. -If you are 185cm tall or more, you may find the bed a bit small.

Friendly staff, yoga (with a fee) available, easy keyless waterproof bracelet to access your room (perfect to go to the beach and carry not even the keys). A/C and roof-fan available. Cute pool -open till late at night, you are in the middle of the forest, nice bar & restaurant with a great local & middle eastern fusion menu. Good location between Quepos & Manuel Antonio. It had a competitive price for the days we visited.

I don't recommend the dorms with no air-conditioning. They get extremely hot and you have to sleep with the door open. Also, the beds are very small and uncomfortable.

The staff is absolutely amazing, especially Mike! The staff make you feel welcomed, they're entertaining and kind. The food at the restaurant is really good! The location is great and there's plenty of wildlife around.

It was a close call on value for money. The room was super basic but had a super large bathroom.

It has a bunch of walking trails on the property so you can get out into nature. One of the trails leads up towards the local town where you get some food or take a bus down to the beach. There's a swimming pool too which was clean and great in the afternoon. The staff was friendly. The actual room was pretty basic.

Nothing really to complain about, the hotel was accurately represented on booking.com so I knew exactly what I was getting so there's nothing I can think of to comment on. Music from the bar could be loud but it shut down every night at 10PM so nothing to complain about.

Location was good, on the edges of Manuel Antonio but with a trail through the forest to avoid walking on the side of the road. Pool was nice as were a lot of the facilities. Restaurant had good food as well.

The surrounding area is extremely hilly but that's nobody's fault. Makes driving and walking a bit tricky but we managed.

Helpful, friendly staff. We had a double with private bathroom. Bed was really comfortable. Air-conditioning and large fan in room. Pool looked out over the jungle, lots of wildlife wandering around. The monkeys wake you up in the morning. Food and drink very good. Near shops, beaches an Antonio Manuel National Park. Loved it here.

Beds were saggy and the kitchen was v small without much to it. Not many people were inclined to cook so we managed.

Large pool was great and the restaurant had an interesting menu of middle eastern inspired dishes. First day's food was great but our last meal was waaaaaay too over spiced and seasoned, Wifi was good but didn't reach their kitchen
