As a solo traveller I enjoyed my little room near the center of La Fortuna. The owners are super kind and made me a delicious breakfast every morning.

You might find some insects in the property, you are in a city close to a rainforest, so guests should not be afraid of those.

The owners are super friendly and welcome you like a family member. They are very helpful and the breakfast was great. I loved that they made the effort to prepare the breakfast even though I was getting up very early, that was so thoughtful.

Yes this is a tiny room, but you have everything you need. I don't understand the negative reviews, it clearly says what to expect. Lulú and Wilber were extremely welcoming, wanted to make sure I enjoyed myself and suggested places to visit. Breakfast was delicious. And you're only 5 minutes from the centre! I loved it.

I really enjoyed the central location of this lodging and the ease of checking in. I was easily able to find this place because it is located behind the best soda in town, Soda Sabores Lulu, but when you put the name into GPS another B&B comes up, which was a mess in the morning when I needed to be picked up. I knew the room was small, but when I arrived, it was even smaller than I expected. There was barely space in the room for my carry on suitcase and backpack. The bed takes up most of the space and the back of the room is dedicated to the bathroom. The entire space is probably 5' wide by 7' tall. The photos are accurate (the shelf has been changed) but the space looks bigger in the photos. I chose the smallest room available because I was only staying one night so that I could be in town when my shuttle picked me up at 5am the next day. Everything was clean, there is no hot water and no shower head in the shower, just a pipe where water comes down. It worked for what I needed, btu I was suprised by how basic it was. The bed was not comfortable, I could feel all of the springs, but I was able to sleep. There were two fans in the room, which I appreciated. I could not get the tv to work but the wifi was strong and I could watch shows on my phone This B&B has other, larger rooms available and if/when I come back I would choose one of the larger rooms. That's just my personal preference. This lodging is an incredible deal, especially when you consider the free delicious breakfast.

If the water was warmer for the shower it would be 10/10 but this is just a personal preference as the weather in la fortuna is warm anyway.

Very good for the price. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They helped me with several queries and requests and were very accommodating and flexible. The breakfast was good, especially the rice and beans. Great location and would stay again.

It was so nice They have to tiny little dogs who are so sweet and only want to cuddle They are really caring and just easy going in any way 🩵 Responding to messages immediately also booking tours spontaneously!!!!🧘🏼‍♀️ An allover great place to stay in famila Environment and atay save also travelli g alone in an foreign Country The bed was awesome and suuuuper clean fresh linen Also very good cusions Plus 10 bedwise🦋🦋🦋 The room is simple just as i like it. You can prepare coffee or tea hang in your patio with a riny aquarium👌

Nothing really. Loved everything.

Location just off main streets but still an easy 5 minute walk into town. Breakfast at the Soda right in front of our accommodation was easy. Owners treated us like family from the moment we arrived.

Everything was amazing, the hosts were the sweetest people, very welcoming and the accommodation was super comfortable!!

The breakfast was amazing and plentiful!! This is one of the best restaurants in the area so you'll definitely eat well by staying here.
