At first I had trouble locking the door, it's a bit tricky but it worked out. There is no safe in the room.

Welcoming staff, a simple but very pleasant room with an outdoor balcony open to nature and I saw iguana. There is a bus stop nearby to get anywhere in the vicinity. I got a vegan friendly breakfast. I enjoyed to stay at Bongo hotel!

Bathroom needs some refreshment, although it is clean. And as a suggestion (not a minus) - it will be nice to have some desserts or fruits in the dinner menu.

Good room, although bathroom needs some refreshment. Staff (especially in the restaurant) are very nice and friendly. There is a nice pool with relaxing atmosphere and free hot drinks. Near the hotel there is a trail to the wild beach which we really enjoyed.

The walls between the rooms were VERY thin, so if you have neighbours it’s very noisy. We were lucky and had nobody next door for 2 of our 3 nights. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, but didn’t deal with very noisy teenagers around the pool at night (despite the rule about keeping quiet after 9pm). Few restaurants nearby.

The site was lovely - great pool, nice breakfast area and surrounded by lots of trees which were full of birds, including a couple of pairs of scarlet macaws (which we saw regularly). Great air con, which was quiet enough to use at night. Breakfast was nice but there was no choice of dish. Tea and coffee available throughout the day. Just 500m from the bus stop for both Quepos and Manuel Antonio, although there weren’t many restaurants nearby. Cheap laundry service.

Great location and clean. We did not like that there was no open window or adequate ventilation. After a shower all the moisture ends on the floor and you walk around on a wet floor. No screen on the sliding doors to allow for ventilation and to keep creatures out. We had a power outage.

a lot of maintenance needed. . lots of cracked tiles, bathroom vanity should be replaced. a lot of cement needs repair. Not enough parking.

Location made you feel like you were up on the jungle, the staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean, AC and hot shower working, delicious breakfast. Parking was close and easy. You can see more animals on property than in the national park!

It's a little far from the park, so keep it in mind if you don't have transportation, but you can always take a taxi. Otherwise enjoy!!

Early morning (6:30am) They where doing repairs behind my room and a lot of noise from cutting metal was there, It is a wonderful place and I can imagine why they need to expand and repairs just not so early.

Getting to the town centre takes some time on foot because of the changes in elevation

The hotel area is beautiful and feels like it’s in the jungle. We spotted monkeys and macaws from our room. The bungalow was equipped with airconditioning and a mini fridge, both much appreciated in the hot Quepos area. The hotel was only a few 100m from the bus stop, so it was also very easy to reach and go to/from Manuel Antonio or Quepos. The road to La Macha beach starts at the hotel entrance and after a short walk you end up at a beautiful beach (with no one else around when we visited).

The facilities in the room are quite worn. The soap dispensers (at sink and in shower) in my bathroom did not work.

The best thing about my stay was actually all the wildlife that I saw in the area around the property (I saw red macaws, white faced capuchin, other monkeys, leguanas, plenty of birds and a few hummingbirds). The staff was also very friendly and the breakfast is good. The pool is nice, the bed is comfy and there is a fan and AC.
