Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyNothing -- we are very satisfied with everything! Perhaps to mention -- the wifi signal in the master bedroom was quite weak.
The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and cozy. Looks even better than on the photos! We used the kitchen several times and couldn't wish for better equipment. The location is also top -- supermarket on the ground floor, a couple of blocks from the main touristy streets, leading to the beautiful Santa Maria beach. The host Leila and the local contact Amilton were amazingly helpful! We were allowed to do late check out, leaving right before our flight at midnight. They also arranged airport transfers for us at a reasonable price. We would come back any time! Thank you!!!

United KingdomAbsolutely loved my stay at the apartment. Perfect location, 2 minute walk to bars/restaurants. 5 minute walk to the beach. Situated above a supermarket, which was very convenient. The apartment is clean, modern and very spacious. Great amenities, I had everything I needed during my stay. Easy check in and check out. I would definitely stay again.

Cape VerdeThe only thing that was lacking was a bedside lamp to read at night & some blackout curtains. Besides that all was super mega prime host and luxury apartment.
Amazing 3 bed apartment, very modern, all amenities, amazing host, extremely caring considered, all 5 stars treatment. Location, 2 big supermarkets, on the same road as the Police Station & The GP Health Centre, 10 minutes walking to the beach, nightlife live amazing music Bars. I had a super mega fun time there. I vividly recommend it and would use it again.

The apartment is totally new and it was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the main street of Santa Maria, and there is a supermarket around the corner. It was easy to park in front of the building. We have spent 3 weeks in Sal and this apartment was the best we have stayed on the island.
