Balcony was just a Juliet Balcony so I couldn't sit outside in the evening unless I used the rooftop terrace

You can hear a lot of noise and music from the bars nearby, it didn't bother us at all once we knew about it in advance but it's good to have that in mind case you have issues to sleep with noise / music.

Really good location close to the beach and close to many bars and restaurants. The staff is super nice, friendly and always ready to help fixing taxi from airport or any other needs during our stay.

Perfect appartment, close to everyting, host responded to all our queries/needs, exceeding what is to be expected. We had delays on our flight and Rod was extremely helpful in helping us finding a way to get to the flat. And we had no troubles from noisy neighbourhood. But you should remember you are staying in the heart of Santa Maria. Beautiful Rooftop terrace!

All was great! I heard a bit of noise on Saturday night from the shisha place right next to the building, but I guess I should have been partying myself instead of going to bed early 😄

Great wifi, super clean, crispy towels, great roof top, well equipped apartment! Rod allowed us to leave our luggage some time past the check out time

The location was great! Central but not to busy and so close to the beach! Gets loud in the evening and weekends so take that into account. The appartement had everything we needed and a really nice rooftop

The water pressure could be better, but nothing to worry about. The bed was squeaking which could be fixed.

Rod - the host - is very helpful and forthcoming. He organized an airport transfer for us and was always available. The thing we loved the most was the spacious rooftop with ocean view. The apartment itself was well equipped and spacious as well. The location is close to the beach and central to restaurants and stores.

Everything happens here in the night as it is quite hot so keep in mind that there might be music, loud people, dogs barking and you could hear traffic but If you are aware of that and bring your earplugs all is fine!

Everything was great! Very clean. The internet was stable and I was able to get some mobile work done (including calls)! Its right next to the surf reef and the beach. It is a very spacious place.

would’ve been nice with a hair dryer and also cleaning could’ve been a little better as there was squashed bugs on the walls by the bed and in the bathroom from previous guests. It can be a bit noisy with the music from outside, however I was aware of this before I booked it based on the reviews and as I am a heavy sleeper, I wasn’t too bothered by this. but a light sleeper might have a problem with this

the location is fantastic, less than a min walk to Santa Maria beach and also the main steet where all the bars and restaurants are. Rod (the host) was also fantastic, he came on the 2nd day to introduce himself and told me to let him know if there was any issue and also gave some general information. I ended up messaging him as there was some problems with the shower head, the next day this was fixed :-)

At first I got a flat facing the street with a bar which was quite load. Since Im not really a party girl I was not very happy But the manager has other Apartments and immediately moved me with no extra charge. So really that worked out well and my apartment was really nice and I could see the ocean from my Window. Also there is a rooftop excellent for yoga practise. Friendly staff and good managment. Comfortable bed. Water pressure is a bit low but that goes for the entire island I think. I would recommend staying here, and to Ask for ocean view! 🫶🫠

Its in the middle of the City, so if you need quietness to sleep, this apartment is not for you ;)

Nice appartment to stay in right in the middle of Santa Maria, close to the beach and the center. The owner Roderick was very attentive and helpful! He even made it possible to use some of the amenities after check out because of out late flight.

Ofcourse when you're staying in such a central place, it can be noisy. If you like to party a lot, you won't mind. There's music until 3 in the night. Sometimes longer. And this music comes from different places, so you also can't enjoy it😅. It's like there's a dj playing under your window.

It was very spacious, clean en in the middle of the centre of Santa Maria. The beach is across the street. The owner is really helpfull and arranged a trusted taxi driver for me.

The only thing which could have been better is if more people used the rooftop terrace as it would have been great to meet more people out there

Roderick was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and was very flexible in allowing us to have a late check out on our last day. He is very knowledgeable about the island and has great communication. The apartments themselves are really well located, have everything you need and are very clean.

Really minor: Maybe balcony sound isolation could be a tiny bit better, but didn't bother me as a good sleeper, plus it's what you get when staying central. Little dryer thing on the balcony could help :)

You can't think of a better location in Santa Maria. Just seconds from both beach and the High street. The apartment had A/C which was perfect, all you need in the kitchen and the view from the rooftop is spectacular! Perfect for watching sunset with a glass of wine! The owner is super friendly, responsive and helpful.

Location is very noisy (party till 4, construction site starting early in the morning. Also the locals that talk to you appear all friendly first but ultimately want to sell/beg for you to buy overpriced junk. Got severe food poisoning in a restaurant that was recommended by a shop owner. Im still barely clinging to life after 3 days. Doesn't seem to be rare to catch this "Shigella" on this island.

- No amenities in the bathroom (was staying in few other spots in cabo verde that were much cheaper and it was available) - booked double bed room (as I was travelling with my partner) the owner asked if we want two single bed appartment - very unprofessional approach (I am aware of the room type while confirming booking) - owner offered ‚cheap’ Taxi to bring us from the airport to the spot - we could arrange transportation for way cheaper money (1 eur per person) - price vs quality received
