TV's have no live TV. There are Roku's connected to each TV that you can use, but I found the Roku in my room very outdated and in need of some software updates.

All meals at property were affordable and very well prepared. All staff and facilities were amazing. I rented a car and parking on-site was easy. Good location away from the main city center but still accessible easily by car. I had a private room and it was very clean and comfortable. A/C in room and WiFi worked great.

In comparison with Jan Thiel Pietermaai, you have less space in the dorms in general and for your stuff especially. Also, checking in and out and booking more nights gets quite complicated, even if you stay longer, they don't live the "customer first" policy.

Wifi is super nice, its quite big, it has a nice pool and the restaurant is great too.

It's hard to think of something I didn't like about my stay. The one thing I can think of is that it was rather far to walk to Jan Thiel beach and restaurants (20 minute walk). Normally, this wouldn't be a problem but the weather was very hot ;)

What's there to not like? I liked the colorful houses, the relaxed swimming pool, nice staff and the kitchen. A big plus was that is it very easy to rent a cheap car at the reception.

The drain in the shower smelled very strongly of septic smell. When we first entered the room the entire room smelled bad. Once we figured out where it was coming from we kept the bathroom door closed. No real window in the bathroom only plastic louvers do you can hear everything going on in other people’s bathrooms when walking in zhe outside hallway.. shower etc.. The room was on the road side and the traffic noise was very noticeable. The ladder up to the mezzanine is very steep and the bed up there is quite close to the opening. Given this is a family room I think they should look into adding a sliding barrier to close off the gap to avoid a child falling. The day we arrived they had an event at the hotel with tables all around the pool and loud music etc. We picked this hotel because it has a decent pool and we just wanted to relax for our 1 afternoon and night stop over in CUR . We were not able to spend the afternoon at the pool due to the event, the pool was open but it would have been very difficult and awkward to get in a bathingsuit and start swimming in front of all the vendors, so we ended up paying 40$ worth in taxis to go to Mambo beach and swim and relax there. We wish the hotel would have mentioned the event before arrival. If we had known we would have spent a bit more. somewhere else and been on the beach directly. Lastly, this hotel is nowhere near a beach or walking distance from one. Some of the reviews said there was a beach nearby. I asked the front desk and they said it’s a 20 min walk! When we arrived the person at the front desk was not the most forthcoming with information, we never got any information about renting any bikes or what the WiFi code was. Later that day and the next morning the other lady was more helpful.

This is a decent budget property, colorful and the family room did the job. Good for a short stay on a budget.

Located at a noisy street. The air-conditioning was loud and the 4 person room had a very steep stairs to the second bed. Too small for a family, but great for young travellers.

    Cute place with nice travellers.

The only real downside is the location. It is on a hill so biking might not be as enjoyable for most (we didn't even bother). Also, it isn't really close to much so you pretty well have to rent a car (which they have available at the hostel but book ahead!).

The pool was awesome! The layout of the hostel was very good and it was great that there was a restaurant/bar and convenience store on location. Front desk staff were always helpful. Our transfer was booked hassle-free.

We booked a room with pool view, and when we arrived this room was not available. Just the 2/3rd day of our stay. We had to move to another room, that was annoying.

It was a very quiet and beautiful location. Very nearby Jan Thiel beach and restaurants/bars. The staff is very friendly. And the hammocks in front of the room just give you a real holiday feeling.

The internet was super strong in the restaurant area, but didn't reach the room - which was a pain when working remotely.

This hotel is very handy - you can rent bikes (for free) and their own cars directly from the reception! The staff are superb and super friendly.

The staff didn't seem enthusiastic or approachable, especially for a hostel where you expect interaction between staff and guests. A few of the girls were really nice, other than that not the best impression. In my opinion, renting a bike could be made a lot easier! It's not 'free', instead of having to pay a $100 deposit I would suggest asking guests for creditcard details or to leave their passport at the reception untill return. Ow and after the first 2 days no more hot showers

The hostel is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures! Well taken care of, with cosy seats in front of the houses. Jan Thiel beach is about a 20 min walk away

Cleaning is not to a high standards. There's no washing machine and clothes dryer available but you can ask staff to arrange washing your clothes elsewhere or hand-wash and hang it to dry. Bed courtains are see through.

This hostel is located in Jan Thiel area. There is beaches, hiking opportunities, diving, snorkeling, surfing. Bikes are available for guests and you can go to the supermarket or explore the area. The common area is chill, people gather by the swimming pool, on sofas, restaurant area. You can play board games, read books, play pool, sunbathe on sunbeds, work by the table, nap on fluffy sofas or relax in a hammock. There's spacious terrace area where you can do yoga. You can try their smoothies and poke bowls, they're delicious. Common room with capsule beds are neat, each bed is equipped with individual light and socket. Pillow is great and there's a blanket. There are small lockers where you can put the padlock, small shelf by the sink and bigger one not locked under the beds. Beds have courtains but they are see through so they won't protect you against the lights if you want to sleep earlier. You get two towels. There's hangers for towels and Air-conditioning in the common room. Toilet and shower is inside of the room but there's also extra toilets by the pool area. There's hand soap, body wash gel and toilet paper. You can hang your clothes to dry outside. Outdoors kitchen and fridge are very handy, there's everything you need to cook and prepare your meal or store food. You clean after yourself and there's dishwashing liquid, sponges and towels available. Individual rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, there's TV with Netflix and big desk with mirror and light. By the beds there are small lamps. Bathroom is spacious, shower with hanger for the towel, sink and toilet. Small hand soap, toilet paper and shower gel are available. Wardrobe with hangers and shelves is there. Aircon is available. Terrace with small table, two chairs and amazing sunrise view over Sta Barbara. Go see Director's beach, sunk boat at Tugboat beach and the Fort.

If your hotel is a bed & BIKE, make sure the bikes are in good shape, all of them need maintenance urgently and the saddles are uncomfortable keeping in mind that people take the bikes in their beach outfits, not in professional clothing.

The rooms are perfect, great beds, good size, delicious shower. Its close to Jan Thiel, but keep in mind that if you take the bikes there’s several steep uphill parts, makes for an exercise in the morning. The staff overall is super nice and the manager Marla very helpfull.

If there were children the pool could not be used, as it became a kids playground. In some rooms the air smelled a bit mouldy, but it must have been because the pool starts from the door.

The pool, and the ambient. TheY have EU plugs. Also we changed rooms 2 times and they were super cas about it :)

Renting bikes was easy. Unfortunately, the quality of the bikes wasn't very good.

Very beautiful place! The family room was lovely looking and functional in addition to being really clean. Jahn Thiel beach is within walking distance and there is a bus stop just right next to Bed & Bike where you could easily take a bus to the center of Willemstad.
