Nice room and facilities. We loved having the ocean just in front of the hotel therefore the possibility to swim at walking distance from our room. Also one of the best places to have breakfast in the area.

Shared this with the team and they did share their apologies and have plans for repairs on some items. Bathroom is a bit weird for me since it is all open with no doors. Not sure if this is normal in Dutch culture but it was a bit difficult to adapt.

Very nice and old Dutch style property. Paint was solid colors and looked like it was recently done. Great decorations and made the room very cozy. Good shower head as I like big shower heads.

Unfortunately I saw some cockroaches outside the room and in the hotel lobby. I told the staff, who were kind and used insecticide, however, the cockroaches continued to appear. Despite that, inside the room was clean.

The aesthetics and decor of the place is beautiful! The service at the hotel's restaurant is very good too!Good bed and good shower!

The air-condition wasn't working quite well. The staff attempted to get it back on track, and they fixed it to an extent.

I liked the staff; the ladies were lovely, and they tried accommodating me in my every request.

It was a pleasure to stay 2 nights at BijBlauw. The hotel is located pretty central. Having the breakfast by the sea, in the restaurant area, was the highlight of the day. The room was spacious with everything needed, good wifi and great air conditioner. I warmly recommend this hotel!

The king size bed is actually just two twin mattresses put together, so inevitably you or your partner falls into the crack in between the beds which is uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom has a door with big window in it which can make going to the bathroom feel awkward/uncomfortable.

The location is great and close to the best bars and restaurants, and the hotel has a nice and cozy design. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The food and service at the restaurant are not very good, but the coffee is good and the view at the restaurant is great overlooking the ocean. The rooms are pretty quiet which is also a great plus, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained.

The room had some issues including windows that were impossible to open. I received a bottle of wine to compensate and offer to move to another room. Had the impression that window issue was not new.

The neighborhood of Pietermaii in Willemstad had a lot of partially renovated buildings, so seemed a little rough around the edges (though safe and clean). Willemstad overall a little disappointing (not beachy). However, you have the rest of Curacao for beautiful beaches. Did have to go up a long flight of stairs.

Attractive room, clean, peaceful, nice deck upstairs. Best features were the (1) restaurant (right by water, outdoors, excellent food) and (2) kind and helpful staff.

BijBlauw doens't include breakfast, while room price is quiet high. The breakfast available at the restaurant is good, but expensive and not worth the price. I think they can do better in terms of breakfast for guests.

BijBlauw staff really makes you feel at home. The room was excellent, with good beds, fine bathroom and tasteful design. .

our room was on the main floor, by the hallway on one side and the walkway to the restaurant on the other, so we heard every conversation passing our room. The bathroom air had a hint of sewer gas.

The location was great! Walking distance to all of the places in downtown Willemstad including the Queen Emma bridge. The view from the restaurant at sunset is amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room (vitamine sea room) seems not to be so fresh like on the pics, some details like broken towel holder not repaired over our stay (11 days).

Two standard doubles we booked were filled with obscured smell. Some sediment on walls. Reported it and Tried to change rooms for other. Hotel was full so oferred a change to nice double in adjacent hotel for an extra charge. Expensive 17,5 USD/pax breakfast - small portion.

Perfect location on the seashore. Close to city centre. Nice and spacy apartments. Kind office personel.
