A wonderful place - Sidney, our smiling host, was incredibly generous and helpful. Over breakfast (which he brought in every morning) he would stay and chat to give us invaluable tips on which beaches to go to, where to eat and drink, and what to see. He organised boat trips and car hire for us at no extra cost, and was always doing more than necessary to make us comfortable. A true gent, and so proud of his country, Sidney is a living advert for Curaçao.

Our stay at Turquoise B&B was lovely. Sidney is a fantastic host! He was very kind and accommodating with great communication. He gave us many tips to make sure we had the perfect trip! There are minor things like the bathroom being outside the bedroom and the lights being out of the space. Sometimes you are in and someone from other accomodation shuts the lights off and you are in the darkness. Alarm system also bothers a little bit in the beggining, but with the time you get used to it.

The house is nice, well located, close to city center and to the bridge. But the best from the accomodation is the care from the host. Sidney is probably the best host I have ever met and this is priceless. Oh, and the breakfast made by her wife is something very special as well, we loved it!

Everything was perfect

Sidney is one of the greatest host you will ever encounter. He would go above and beyond to help you in any way possible. Breakfast is very good and he'll bring out to you every morning. Everything is clean and organize. The main room in the second floor is quite ample and has an outside-bedroom private bathroom, which has everything you need. There's also a full equipped kitchen and a large fridge with a freezer. You can also park your car in front of the house. It's a 10 min walk from Puna (downtown) and Queen Emma Bridge, which is really convenient to explore Willemstad. There are 2 grocery stores nearby, so that you can purchase essentially anything you need. Furthermore, there's also a bus terminal nearby where the market is, which makes transportation easy even if you don't have a car. However, please do your research on how the ABC Bus system works.

Sidney is the friendliest host we’ve ever met! He and his wife pay attention to all the details in the house, everything is very well organised, clean and ready to use. My husband and I came to Curaçao for our honeymoon and Sidney made sure we had all the information about the places to go and he gave us all the useful tips for our entire stay. He and his wife also beautifully decorated our room because of our honeymoon. We had a great time and will surely keep in touch!

It wasn't completely clear from the description that the private bathrooms for the two rooms on the ground floor are not en suites. I didn't share my bathroom with the other guests, but the toilet was across the hall and the shower was through the kitchenette. The building was originally designed for offices, so that's why. Luckily I read a lot of the reviews, so it wasn't a complete surprise, but this could be more clearly explained in the the room descriptions.

Sidney is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests enjoy their time on the island. I booked my airport pickup with him, and he took the time to drive me around Otrabanda and Punda, giving me some basic tips to help orient me to the town. He made sure I understood how to set the alarm, and made me feel very safe and comfortable. The room, kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas were immaculate. Breakfast was simple, yet more than enough food. The AC kept the sleeping room cool, while the heat outside dried my clothes on the terrace clothesline in no time. There were a lot of nice little touches like bottles of drinking water in the fridge, and a basket of cookies by the coffee and tea station. (Which saved me on my first night when there was a blackout and almost no shops or restaurants were open!) Whether you have your own wheels or are relying on public transport, Sidney will help you navigate and provide suggestions for the best way to accomplish your goals. The location is a short walk from the heart of Otrabanda, and you can catch buses to the west side of the island just down the street. All in all, great hospitality and facilities - definitely recommend it!

The only drawbacks were the absence of an en suite bathroom and the sounds that emanated from upstairs due to the occupants' movements. I believe that the latter can be resolved if some sound insulation is installed. This should allow the B&B to be scored 10 out of 10.

My husband and I admired the tranquility of the B&B. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The breakfast is compact and can rarely be consumed at once. Sydney is an excellent host. From day one, he provided information about the various sites that could be visited. He maintained contact with us daily to ensure our well-being and to enquire about our plans for the day, recommending the best mode and route for transportation. On the night of our arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, and then on the day of our wedding anniversary, we were presented with an assortment of cakes. Highly recommended to others who wish to spend a vacation in Curacao

My partner and I stayed at Turqouise B&B for four nights during our 2 week holiday to Curaçao. The location was perfect for exploring Otrabanda, Punda and Pietermaii. The Emma Bridge was around a 15 minute walk away and local bars and restaurants all within walking distance. We had one of the standard rooms on the ground floor with a separate WC and shower. Our room was well equipped with A/C, a safe, fridge, beach bag, mosquito spray and toiletries. The room was clean, we had plenty of towels and the bed was really comfortable. Whilst the property is in a safe neighbourhood we had the added comfort of an intruder alarm which was set when we were in the property as well as when out for the day. The lounge and kitchen were shared with other guests and complimentary (and good quality) tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. There was a beautiful courtyard at the rear of the property where we enjoyed breakfast al fresco every morning. The pattern from the colourful steps in Otrabanda has been replicated on the walls of the courtyard which makes it a colourful, vibrant and welcoming space. The outdoor wooden furniture was built by the host. During our stay we met a lovely young couple from Argentina. Turquoise had everything we needed and there were some lovely personal touches in the design and decoration which made it feel welcoming and homely. Breakfast was delivered to the property by our host, Sidney, every morning and comprised a good selection of boiled eggs, yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, pastries, jams and juices. Any dietary requirements or particular likes/dislikes were catered for. Sidney would then spend time talking to all the guests and helping them to plan their day. It would be remiss of any review not to mention the host, Sidney. He was without doubt the most friendly, welcoming, caring, thoughtful, considerate, compassionate and attentive host you will ever meet.

The Owners of the B&B were just amazing. They were super nice and helped us perfectly in planning our tours and visits with a lot of great recomendations. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place. Sydney & his wife (Normelien) truly make your stay worth it. I stayed for a week, and it went too fast. You start experiencing travel fever as soon as you start packing. Normelien reached out and wished me the best of luck with the travel via what's app ( this is what I call going above and beyond ). Sydney picked me up from the airport. Compared to other taxi prices, Sydney charged less, and on top of that, he drove me around as I went to a friend's wedding. Their hospitality is out of this world. You feel relaxed and at home as soon as you enter. Breakfast was always on time, and coffee was always available. Emma bridge is within walking distance Pirate Bay beach is also within walking distance if you fancy a walk next to the sea. All the restaurants are close by ( Chinese, Indian, local, and international) And many other things for you to discover Most importantly, the rooms had lovely Airconditioning ( keeping the inside cold), which was a great feeling after returning. This was the best choice because Sydney made my stay worth it, and I will travel back with my family next time.

Wow! This place is very clean and the bed/pillows are comfortable. It’s in a great location to explore the island. All toiletries, beach towels, beach bag/basket, mosquito spray and cooler are provided. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of food. The host was amazing! He gave us recommendations and checked in with us at least once a day. We will definitely be back for a longer stay at Turquoise B&B!

This is the only place where you want to stay at, when you visit the beautiful island of Curaçao. The hosts, Sidney and Normelien, are SOOOOOOOOOOO nice. They will make sure you have an excellent stay and help you with everything when needed. Sidney even catches little lizards for you if they accidentally sneaked into the house. Even I have honestly no words for how friendly these people are. The apartment has everything you need: a nice kitchen with all the tools you need, including coffee and tea, a really nice cosy bedroom with airconditioning and a lot of space in general: extra room for your suitcases and stuff and a nice living room. Sidney will come each day to bring you a nice breakfast and he will check if you are doing okay. The apartment is secured with an alarm and good locks! The apartment is situated quite central on the island which is ideal. You can walk to Willemstad or a short ride to one of the nice beaches. Normelien and Sidney already prepared a nice basket for you with beach towels, so what you waiting for? 😉 Ah yes, there might be one thing... you HAVE to have you photo taken in the garden, with the beautiful painted wall. I was the first guest to decline, because I hate my pictures taken 🤪 I am pretty sure the host is still heartbroken over it, so I have to go back soon to make things right.

Everything was PERFECT!

Stop looking, you have found the perfect place! Easy, flat ten minute walk to the Queen Emma Bridge; bus stop for Westpunt close by (bus will take you right to the turtles!). Everything is new, nicely decorated and beautifully clean. Sidney was easily the best host we’ve ever encountered, he was so friendly and really looked after us. The breakfast delivered each morning was lovely (loads of food!). We were given a bottle of wine and other little treats - biscuits, local snacks. I really have to say, it was an amazing stay. These hosts make such an effort to offer something special. Can’t wait to go back!

We loved the convienience of staying in a beautiful colorful house, with great bathrooms and kitchen, good amenities and breakfast. The staff is lovely and they even gave us a free bottle of wine, which we appreciated. It was a pleasure to return home after long days at the beach, we felt like locals!

Whole płace is just terrific - You can feel like at home. There is everything that You might need - for example paper cups for coffee to go. It is also in very good localization - good road to airport, parking in front of appartament and 5 minut walking distance to city center.
