Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe hotel's location is excellent. It is close to the beach, near Kings Avenue Mall where you can find everything you need. The pool is great. It is near the Harbor, which is unique to Paphos. It is close to famous archaeological sites Tombs of the Kings and Nea.

CyprusOn the who;le a very pleasant stay.
Rooms were spacious and the Balcony a fair size (for two persons). Nice touch was the 'Herringbone' Balcony effect offering privacy. Breakfast was fair, although a nicer touch would be the Fried Eggs cooked to order rather than left on the hotplate going dry. A reasonable selection at breakfast for the money paid. Pool area spacious with plenty of sun-loungers. Pool cleaned daily and was welcoming, especially during hotter periods. Lifeguard on duty. Pool Bar close by with a selection of drinks and snacks (provided by the kitchen)

RussiaNot a big problem, but a kettle is provided by request for additional short payment.
We stayed 2 nights in May. There are two swimming pools, billiard (2 EUR), tennis, mini golf (for free), table tennis (for free). Close to Tombs of the kings and to promenade along the beach. Breakfasts were included.

United KingdomThe basic amenities were not provided, you have to pay to get access to the safe, fridge and kettle. Only have 1 key for the room which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was boring. Rather noisy at night as the staff didn't tell guest to lower voices by the pool and allowed them to continue party after midnight.
The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect, close to bus station, easy access to supermarket and shopping mall. Plenty of restaurants around and short walk to a beautiful beach.

PolandWiFi was shaky sometimes. It was not that much of a bother, you would spend most of your time outside the hotel anyway.
Localization is great. Close to the beach, near a one of the most customer oriented roads. Hotel has a lot of additional features, but I did not need to use them, so I am unable to rate them. Staff is very helpful and communicative. Room had classical vibe, was clean and spacious. AC worked well. Breakfast was good. I am satisfied with the price to the quality. I absolutely recommend it for a budget holiday.

United StatesIn addition to passport, management still requires you to write personal info out on a slip of paper. To be stored where? To be kept secure how? Identity theft.concern.
Very nice place and very comfortable. Could store luggage and staff gave me an upgrade on room. Can walk to harbor area, Ancient Paphos and Tombs on a nice new beach walkway. Restaurants are closer just around corner on strip. Had good meals at the local style restaurants. And pool areas are great places to hang out. Was noisy one night till midnight but not a problem.

SloveniaFrom comments I read on booking I was expecting better breakfast (or maybe just more diverse). It was classical english breakfast, same every day, no local stuff like hummus and almost no fresh fruit. The internet worked fine in the reception but not so in the rooms (depended on how many users were online). The rooms looked old, but they were very clean and had renovated bathroom.
The location of the hotel is very good and it is a walking distance to beach, local stores/dines and huge Kings Avenue Mall. Coffee at breakfast was very good.

United KingdomThere was no kettle in the room, but I was only staying one night, therefore I bought a takeaway hot chocolate from the nearby McDonalds.
The location is excellent; within walking distance of local beach and also main harbour and promenade, which can also be gotten to by using the local bus that you catch on the main road. There are a choice of restaurants, bars and taverns nearby, as well as the Sunfresh bakery about 5-10 minutes walk. The hotel also has its own souvenir shop.
