Room was smaller than expected - when I compared to previous experience in a 1st floor room. So not really worth the extra expense being charged.

Position near beach, old town and good places to eat. Very modern and clean with a nicer and more private bathroom than 1st floor room previously stayed in. Nice to be further back from road so quieter overall.

Some of the furniture is a bit worn out, the mirror is hidden behind the tv. The toilet and shower are in separate cubicles which wasn’t a problem for me as I were on my own, but might be not that convenient if there were two of us.

Old nice building with high ceilings and wooden floor, centrally located. I had a room in the corner, it was very quiet and I had a really good sleep. Although the building is old, the amenities are new and very clean.

Room was not as advertised. Specifically it didn't have a city view nor a balcony as expected from images. It overlooked an internal courtyard of sidewalls of other buildings, which cannot be advertised as city view. Staff politely explained they didn't have other room available at that time.

My room was in the court yard and there are lights that come on after a certain time each day as well as a light that permanently stays on which are both problematic as they shine straight through the top window of the room and they actually light up the room more then the lighting actually inside the room which made it impossible to sleep. One night, I didn't even sleep in the room due to this. The room next to mine had a shutter on this window to block this light out. I also only received room service one out of my four day stay originally. I assumed maybe it wasn't included with this hotel. When I went checked in after hours staff had actually checked someone else into my original room, this was not a problem and was quickly rectified but I just got put in the only avaiable room i could get access to after hours which was fine but I think they staff forgot I was staying there and this is why I didn't get room service.

Good location, reading reviews and faults other people have stipulated I did not find any of them problems which originally almaot put me off booking this room. In the end I booked it and I'm glad I did because the room was good quality especially for the price.

Once I Informed the team I wasn't able to make check in before 8pm, they sent me all the details via a message on how to get into the building and to my room. Everything was so easy. The location is wonderful, you are right in the middle of the vivid centre of the city.

There is no universal electric outlet that accommodates both European and US electronics. There are no hooks to hang towels in the toilet and the shower room.

I liked the location of the hotel - it's close to everything. The hotel itself is a historical building, truly standing as a testament to the island's rich history and architectural heritage. At the time of writing this review, I am back at this hotel. I stayed here for two nights and then moved to another hotel for one night because its rooms were all sold out for that night. I returned to this hotel and got the same room, thanks to Suzanna, a receptionist at the hotel. She's super kind and helpful. The other lady working there is also nice and helpful. They both work between two positions: the storekeepers next to the hotel and receptionists of the hotel. This hotel does not have any fancy amenities, but the room is very spacious and has all the basics: a great hot shower, a clean toilet, AC (cool and heat), a kettle, and, more importantly, a soundproof window that reduces noise from outside. I chose this hotel also because it does not offer breakfast. There are many nice coffee shops close to the hotel, and there is no need to be stuck in a hotel getting mostly the same breakfast everyday. The money I save from going to a hotel with breakfast included is enough for me to get a nice breakfast anywhere. Overall, great value for money!

The acoustic isolation is bad, you continously hear the people from the rooms aside or above. In particular during our stay the property was making some renovation works, so there were drilling and hammering the all day, this was very annoying. The wifi didn't work. There was nobody at the reception. In one of the photo it seemed that the room had a window but it was not the room we got: our room was blind and the window was in the bathroom.

The only problem we had was parking, we didn't realise that they don't have parking until we got there. Normally I think it wouldn't be a problem but it was carnival weekend and there were no parking places nearby. We ended up paying a fortune for parking and had to find different parking lots every few hours because all of them were for parking up to 8 hours.

Great location especially if you plan to walk during your holidays. It's very close to the Marina, lots of shops, cafe and restaurants. The room was clean and perfect for sleeping, showering and hitting the road for adventure.

My taxi driver cant find the place should be a better description of how to find the entrance to the hotel (if you are not familiar with the city, be prepared for the taxi driver to stop far away). To get the key, you need to contact by phone - this should also be in the description (the hotel is not large and it is logical that there is no reception 24/7, but we must comfirmed that the hotel staff who respond very quickly and friendly). The hotel does not have an elevator.

The location is great, everything can be reached on foot (entrance is on a walking street and a small area needs to be walked). Bathroom is very new. Hotel close to sea-road and windows/balcony looks on the main shopping street, but there is soundproofing and if the windows are closed the room is quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly, they respond quickly to any request and are happy to help.
