How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Super creaky wooden floors in a dorm. Small showers (but manageable).
Warm, clean, cozy. Staff was constantly taking care of the place (and, Mercedes is an amazing person)!

One of the cleanest and friendliest places I've visited so far, thank you Dimitra and Mercedes! Loved your cosy apartment full of memorable details, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Everything was taken care of! I would come back if ever visiting Limassol again.

Was rather noisy some time in the hostel and at the street, but it's everywhere on Cuprus, as in every southern country - people do not know how loud they are))
Stuff is very friendly, there is a coffee-machine in the common kitchen, and it's clean.

The overall cleanliness could have been better though I appreciate the hostel was hosting a large group of teenage students at the time. Single room was basic and only had one usable electric socket.
The hostel is in a decent location a short walk from town. Victor, the host is a very friendly, helpful guy. The price was reasonable for Limassol. A comfortable safe place to stay.

Very Clean! Spacious common areas and nice rooms with balconies. They give you towels at no charge and they have complimentary coffee and sugar. Good location! Victor is super nice! Thanks you!

There should be curtains for the beds. Water pressure in baths should be stronger.
A great place with great people. Great personnel and a feeling of a home. Really recommend it if you need a hostel.

A little bit away from bus station (we arrived from Larnaca by Intercity bus). Also there were thin walls so we could hear when someone's going to the bathroom
Victor ant the check in and check out was very nice and gave us some helpful advice. This hostel is quite close to the beach and city center. Everyday there was some fruit for everyone in the dining room. It was a good place to stay :)

I would like to have a wardrobe with hangers.
The super hostel!!! Pleasant communication, very polite and tactful staff Victor, everything is clean, there is a water filter, a refrigerator, a kettle, dishes. To the nearest beach on foot 20-30 minutes slowly. To the supermarket on foot 5 minutes.

All perfectly!
Loved the hostel, very polite staff, thank you! Cleanliness at the highest level, cleaning every day, smells good, there is a washing machine. The room has excellent air conditioning, a beautiful recreation room, a clean kitchen.

Only things that could be improved is one of the toilets wasn’t fixed to the floor, one of the plug sockets wasn’t fixed to the wall and the chairs on the kitchen balcony were rather uncomfortable but none of this was worth giving this place less than a 10/10. Bravo.
An excellent hostel. Regularly cleaned and rather quiet (unlike some hostels). Victor is probably the main selling point of this hostel. He has a lot of local knowledge and was very willing to show me around the local area as well as just being a very friendly guy.

The only minor point of improvement would be maybe better lighting in the room, but it wasn't a big deal. A couple of clip-on lamps would have been helpful.
Lima Sol House was good vibes all around. Anthony was able to accomodate our request very last minute and extend our stay. Everything was clean and the hostel had a very welcoming aura. Vitor was incredible!

One bathroom was very small to deal with, the other with not suited shower - because of the curtain from all sides water after shower was everywhere. When taking a shower in the morning there was no hot water.
Very well equipped kitchen with good coffee and potable water. Rooms and common space werre clean. Staff very friendly!

The kitchen was a bit dated.
Great location in Limassol! Very nice and helpful owner and staff. The self check in went smoothly thanks to great instructions. I had a single room, very simple but clean and i didn't lack anything. The whole hostel was very clean. Will stay again if I'm travelling alone.
