Omodos is the best most beautiful village to stay in the Troodos mountains. The property is close to the Square and the owner is a charming and helpful gentleman.

Large one bedroom apartment with open-plan living area and private courtyard. Omodos is a tiny town of mostly pedestrian streets but it wasn't an issue to park our car in the ample free parking on the other side of the town. We wanted to do wine-tasting and there were a few places in town, as well as wine farms less than a kilometre in either direction on the main road into Omodos.

It was just bad luck that the hosts’ restaurant wasn’t open the day I arrived. There is no way I could find tue accommodation on my own. Luckily, I ran into the owner.

A roomy one bedroom. Hot water system was very quick. A nice outside area to sit and relax. The rolling heater in the living room was wonderful. The wifi worked very well in the main room , but not in the bedroom.

Unfortunately there were workers outside the house correcting a pathway therefore on Saturday morning we had to wake up at 6 in the morning. On the same night the taverna close by had a event with live music until midnight. Nothing negative to say about the house!

The location is excellent . The house is extremely comfortable and it has Netflix which is great to watch while sitting next to the fireplace (wood was an additional 10 euro). Great view and good size living room and bedrooms.

Just there was no stove top.

Lovely house originally booked a one bedroom cottage with fire however there was work being done in the street so got a three bedroom, lovely location, clean, well equipped we did expect a stove top however this wasn't available in the 3 bedroom just the one bedroom, comfortable bed, sufficient heating. Extra 10 euro for bag logs for open fire was worth it.

mind the very steep steps

Omodos as a town is amazing! it's so tiny that everybody know everyone :) bear in mind it's impossible to park in the city centre (streets are too narrow to drive); nevertheless the Omodos Katoi Holiday Homes is in the city centre and 1 street away from the road when you can park your car; it's a willa with 2 storeys; we rented an upper room with kitchenette and en-suite; the bedroom & bathroom were nice, clean and decent size; kitchenette was equipped with everything you might need

If I am being picky, the walls are not soundproofed, and you can hear the family next door . They would probably have heard us, too. This was not a problem to us. It would not stop us from returning here.

Lovely welcome! Spacious accommodation. We loved the outside terrace. There was plenty of room to park our bicycles securely. Situated in the heart of beautiful Omodos

The village mostly hosts tour parties during the day. It is very quiet at night. We went in early November which is out of season and there was very little to do in the evening. We found two restaurants open on the square and the food was very average.

Property in lovely, pretty village that has some interesting museums, local shops and restaurants. Interior is simply furnished but everything needed is there. The accommodation owner is very welcoming and hosted a great meal for us in his fabulous restaurant (Katoi) close by.

I'd be happy for a stove to cook.

This lovely.place surprised me. It offered a very spacious and wide space within a semi-private rock yard. Atmosphere is lovely and the room was great. I think it's a great finding for such a price.

Going home!

We were late arriving due to a flight delay, so this meant we arrived later than the check-in times. We messaged ahead and Charalambos, the owner replied quickly to say all was good and we could pick the keys up from the restaurant. The apartment was spacious, clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed! The kitchen area was good, with an oven, kettle, toaster, fridge etc. The apartment is about 10 min walk from the car park as driving through the narrow streets isn't possible! Loads of parking in the main car park, although it can get very busy from 10am to 6pm as Omodos is visited by loads and loads of people throughout the day... but evenings are peaceful. Charalambos met us a few times during our stay, had a lovely couple of meals in his Katoi Restaurant (Top top quality food!! 100% recommend eating there - the chef is superb!). We used the Katoi Holiday home as a base, and trust us when we say it is an excellent place to base yourself if you are driving around the island. It's 30 mins to the beach and hundreds of places to drive to in the mountains, including a number of waterfalls, some of which are very very quiet! Our trip was based around visiting as many monasteries as we could (and Churches) and proved to be a brilliant way to see Cyprus. Slightly out of season, the weather was lovely and warm (last week of September and first week of October) with a couple of rainy days. Also... there is a Micro Brewery about 20 mins drive away ;) Not forgetting the Camel park an hours drive!! Beautiful country! We'll be back.

Lights in the main living area could be improved a little bit to make the room feel cosier. There was only one main celling lamp and it was lacking some side lamps to make an evening a little bit more romantic. Otherwise, all very good and we recommend the place 100%! :)

We absolutely loved our apartment! The location in the middle of the old part of Omodos was a real treat! The apartment was bigger than expected and was in an old building which helped us to really feel the atmosphere of Omodos. We also appreciated our own patio! We had all we needed and more than expected. We would definately book again! Great value for money!!!

The apartment was a self contained studio which felt spacious and bright. It was very comfortable and had a lovely terrace for sitting out. The property was set a short distance from the main square so it was very quiet.

Not a lot of appliances in kitchen. Kettle, microwave, fridge, toaster. That was it. No hob or oven.

Nice cosy cottage in a beautiful village of Omodos. 2 good sized bedrooms, ideal for a small family. Short walk (2 mins) to centre of Omodos and Monastery.
