Excellent quiet location

I liked how easy it was to collect the keys, check-in and out. Everything was exceptionally clean. The hosts had left some little snacks, water, beer and coffee for us. Nice gesture. The neighbourhood was very quiet. We loved the balcony on the second floor with a neighbouring lime tree reaching onto it.

The house is very cute and very well equppied. You will find there almost everything you might need during your stay. The owner is very nice and helpful.

All was perfect.

It was the most adorable, the cosiest little house I've stayed in in Cyprus. it is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very quiet so our sleep was deep and uninterrupted. `the beach is only 2 min drive away. We will definitely be back!

Would be nice to have a king size bed in the bedroom and a firmer mattress. Water pressure isn't great, 'adequate' as described.

The Summer House really was a home from home. Beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Good location.

The a/c is scheduled to turn off after 6 hours max. This meant was had to wake up at around 6am to turn it on again, and it was disruptive to our sleep. Thankfully when we told the owner, they went in the house and disabled this feature. The rest of the stay was absolutely fine.

A cosy little house that had everything we needed. It is on a quiet street off the main road, with ample of street parking. The location is great for someone travelling to Polis/Akamas/Pomos. Several cats live in the neighbourhood and are very friendly.

not really a criticism but the location is quite remote from the centre of Polis so a car is definitely recommended

The only thing i can fault is the water pressure is not high but that is normal in the area, still was more than enough to have a nice shower.

Sumner House is very well equiped, plenty of space outdoors and indoors. AC in both living room and bedroon is really nice. Nice and hot water in the shower. Neil is an excellent host and very available to help in a short notice.

Who has allergy on cat must be careful. Lot of cats which like go to the house.

Nothing! We were so happy with the house, the cleanliness and the apartment features, and with the communicative and well prepared hosts Neil and Andrea. Thank you, we can definitely recommend your place!

We had a great stay at The Summer House! It was perfectly equipped, with super fast Wi-Fi, lots of maps and guides and we even found beach towels and a beach umbrella which we could use. The kitchen offers everything you need for cooking comfortably and above all, the whole house was extremely clean and well kept! Neil expected us on our arrival (even though he gave us detailed information about how to check in with the key box), showed us around the house and provided us with lots of tips for hiking, going to the beach and to restaurants. Polis is such a lovely coastal town and though we had a car, it's easy to get around by foot or by rental bike. It's just a 20 minute walk to the Latchi beach and harbour or to the Polis camping beach which was our favourite one. We definitely recommend hiking in the Akamas National Park that is just 15 minutes by car away (also reachable by bus) and a visit to the Blue Lagoon! If you want to relax in a not overly touristic sweet little town, choose The Summer House in Polis!

The apartment is very clean, cozy, well equipped & very modern. Bed was very comfortable The communication with the owners were very smooth. The neighbourhood was also very nice and quite and just 10mins by drive to Latchi port. Would love to go back again :)

The place is absolutely extraordinary. Located in a magically peaceful part of Polis, surrounded by trees and cats. The apartment itself was super cozy, comfortable and full of different facilities (Netflix, terrace, balcony, air conditioning, ALL you need in the kitchen etc). Everything was perfectly clean. I would definitely choose it again in the future.

You can hear practically everything that happens in the neighbouring houses. It is a 30-minute walk to the town of Polis where the majority of bars and restaurants are. There is no bus service in an evening so be prepared to walk if you don't hire a car

The host picked us up from the bus station and showed us how all the electronics worked and advised of restaurants and places to go during our stay. There were several cats around the property who all came for cuddles. The house has plenty of outdoor space to sit on a balmy evening. It is only a 10 minute walk to the closest beach and La Plage restaurant in Latchi and there is also access to a communal pool if you fancy staying even closer to home

We loved the outdoor spaces. There are 3 sitting areas with nice outdoor furniture. The house is very clean with good quality furnishings and aplliances.
