In need of some renovation works, some terrace tiles loose, very few kitchen utilities

A welcome gift in the form of bread, cheese, milk, a basket of fruit and a bottle of good Cypriot wine was waiting for us at the villa. Pleasantly surprised. In addition, we were able to check out later because at 14.00 instead of 10.00, so we could enjoy our stay longer.

A minor point, but the settees were quite uncomfortable.

A very well maintained holiday property even though here and there it's showing its age. What we really appreciated is that the hosts provided us with plenty of basic essentials (toilet paper & kitchen towels, dishwasher & washing tabs, a bowl of fruit, milk, some wine, ...).

Ensuite shower was not clean. Only 4 sun beds at the pool not enough for all the family and sun umbrella was broken.

The only problem we had was dealt with immediately by the very friendly handyman.

We were really pleased to find a great beach just a short walk down a track that ran along a lovely meadow. There is a little bit near the house where you go along a road so hold hands- but it’s not busy really. One of us used the spa at the nearby Columbia Hotel and we enjoyed trips to archaeological sites and wine villages too. Friendly locals and a good choice of places to eat!

it was spacious with everything we needed, anything that wasn’t there, such as extra pillows we just asked and they were provided. Very close to shops and restaurants.

The place has seen some years, you can see this even it is perfectly maintained and renovated. The pool has no surface skimmer or filter, o we had to clean insects and leaves with a net. No big issue but to mentioned for others more sensible to details.

the privacy and quiet place, a lot of space for the three of us us, Nice terrace for breakfast and balconies for enjoying the night sky. e enjoined the private pool. And we had to choose between a nice barbecue in the garden or a short walk to the restaurants in the village.

The photographs on the website were obviously taken when the property was new, it is now about 20 years old from my recollection and it is looking a little tired. I suspect that the owners have struggled to survive the pandemic and maintenance / updating may have suffered as a result. Everything worked, except the for washing machine, which was changed within one hour when we reported it broken. But for the money we paid, the seriously cracked shower tray in our en-suite bathroom was unacceptable. The bedding was also below the standard I expected. There were no mattress protectors and no inner covers on the pillows, I won't describe what they were like beneath. There were no extra pillows and when we had the house fully occupied (6) there was only one very flimsy pillow for each guest. Again, at this price I don't think a couple of extra pillows is an unreasonable ask? Silly little things made a big difference, the house sleeps six but the kitchen had a two slice toaster, breakfast took forever. There was no bread / chopping board, there was only a tiny (useless) ice tray that didn't make enough ice for a single brandy sour! I am pretty sure that if I contacted the owner he would have dealt with these smaller issues immediately but I didn't come on holiday to be a property inspector! I really struggled with myself to write these negative comments because in truth, we had a lovely stay at this property and the good things certainly outweighed the not so good. In a way, that is what makes it so annoying because a little more attention to detail and a very small amount of money spent on the property, would have moved my rating from very good to superb.

Fantastic location, owner communicated instantly when contacted and was very responsive to requests, the man who looked after the property, Denni, was excellent and always went out of his way to help. The property was a good size and had a nice layout. The garden was nice, the private pool was a good size and it was cleaned every other day. We were there for 14 days and the property was cleaned and the linen changed after 7 days. The view from the property was lovely.

We could have done with more pillows. The bed was a little uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a bedside lamp so one person could read whilst the other slept. There was a child staying next door that cried consistently. I know there is nothing that can be done about this but it just marred our holiday a bit as it woke us up at 6am and went on for hours.

The pool was a lovely size. Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. The rooms were a good size. 2 bathrooms was an added bonus. The area was lovely.

The swimming pool isn’t heated. Due to only being April was very cold to swim in. I am sure would be more pleasurable later in the season.

Shelves in the bathrooms are missing, so difficult to put one's stuff, particularly in the en-suite bathroom. Either a couple of shelves or a small cabinet would be great. Also, some hooks to hang towels and clothes in the bathroom would be useful. The house is right next to the main road, so it tends to be on the noisy side from the traffic. It seems the sliding doors don't soundproof too well, otherwise it would be ok. The TV has a weird way of zapping through programmes, which aren't that great to start with, but that's a minor issue.

The house is really spacious, with air conditioning everywhere, although we didn't need it during this time, but I can see it being extremely useful during the summer. The pool wasn't usable, as the water was too cold for the season, but it was clean and cleaned twice a week. The 2 bathrooms are useful, pity the downstairs bathroom only has a toilet and sink, as a small shower could also be useful. Kitchen is well equipped, large fridge, large cupboards in the bedrooms and plenty of space in the living/dining room. The outdoor table is great to eat. The host answered any question or issue within the hour, and it was always helpful and positive. We found some juice, wine and small bites to have in the fridge upon arrival, thank you very much, that was very kind.

Sllightly more direct access to the beach would have been nice, but this wasn't a big issue, it was only a 5-10 minute walk.

The villa was very comfortable, with AC throughout and ample towels, utensils etc. The pool was fantastic and the management team were great, very responsive to our messages giving useful information, both before and throughout our trip.

I was expecting a sea view (may be my misunderstanding) but that was available only from the porch... and only small partial view. host suggested another house with a slighlty better views but still this was just from 2nd floor which is not very usefull...

the property is in a lovely location close to Pissouri bay and a short drive to the village centre which is higher up the hill. The grounds are very well maintained with a large garden and decent size pool. Philipos was excellent regarding any queries we had. He responded to questions very quickly and nothing was too much trouble.

Attention to detail was the main thing. The pool pump only ran between 8-5 which meant when it was running, the pool became dirty and no one came round to clean it until the end of our stay. The pool was dirty on arrival and the lights in and around the pool didn’t work. Shower door in en suite was broken, all air con units couldn’t have the temperature adjusted and needed re-gassing. Kitchen sink leaked in the cupboard underneath. The shower in the main bathroom didn’t work and the clothes airer kept collapsing on itself. These are all minor things that could be rectified straight away but let the property down.

amazing location and the facilities were brilliant. very welcoming on arrival which is nice to see.
