I did not enjoy the fact that parking was stated to cost 10 Euros per day. This ended up being 20 Euros which is why we decided to park in a nearby parking garage.

Hotel Adria was totally fine. Hotels in Karlovy Vary can quite expensive. And therefore, this was a cheaper but totally sufficient alternative. It's closer to the train station and the Becherovka Museum. A little further away from the rest of the sites, yet still in walking distance. The staff was friendly and spoke English. You can pay in Euros which is also a bonus. If you're just looking for a place to stay and don't need luxury, then I can totally recommend Hotel Adria.

The furniture was too old and the pillows were awful. The walls are thin and there were noisy people in the front room. The size of the room was big and as there is only 1 small radiator, it was too cold. When I called the reception at 21.00 in the evening in order to tell about the coldness, there was no answer from the reception.

Only the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. Thanks to her, I got a cheap and fast transport advice in the city. The bus terminal is next to the hotel.

Very good location, just next to the bus station from where comes buses from Praque airport and near to the shops and places to see in Karlovy Vary. Good size room and bathroom, small fridge, change sheets and towels in the middle of the stay (7 days), friendly staff, good breakfast for the value of the money, very good coffee.

It needs some fresh reconstruction. It is not horrible, but you feel that it is old style. Our room seemed like to be the one where guests smoked. It is not critical, but you smell it when entering.

The location is close to communication hub, and you don’t feel any discomfort. Basically it is in downtown. There was a bath in a bathroom that was very clean.

It was really expensive when it comes to the quality of the facility. We paid more than 2k CZK per night for 2 people during the festival which is quite a lot.

Place was well located when it comes to the KVIFF. Also it was clean and easy to find. We needed to pay for the parking but it wasn't that pricey and they let us stay there also during the whole check-out day (so it's big plus from our side and I'm happy to say this).

Location is just perfect for a traveller with car: plenty of public parking spaces around - yet all the attractions are just a 5-10 minute walk away.

- the receptionist spoke barely Czech and was on her private phone 24/7, speaking to someone during the whole process of check in - card to the room was not working, the still on her phone receptionist came to check it by herself and just handed us a key without a word, you know important call, I guess :D - even though the room was clean, the carpet have been through a lot, a lot - photos of the room did not show that there is a huge bathroom designed for wheelchair (no shower tub) - not problem at all, just would like to know it, because it means the water is all over the floor all the time - cold room

- specific old air smell - old furniture - the couch / bed was uncomfortable - we had to pay the tourist tax (35czk/pers) for the children (2y and 6y) but in the booking it was specified only for the adults. It was not a big deal but i find this not fair. -no available free parking slot at the hotel

It's a cash only place! (Not just the city tax, if you didn't pay for breakfast in advance, that too.) It's also on a rather busy street, light sleepers should prepare for that. Not everyone from the staff speaks English well, I'm guessing German or Russian might come in handy.

Great location for walks, short distance from either of the bus stations. The staff was helpful and our stay was altogether rather comfortable (unusually: so were the beds). The value for money is good.

The light in the room was broken, as well as in the hallway. The bed also was broken. It was smelly in the hallway.
