How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment is just above a restaurant and you get the keys there. Everything was perfect! The rooms were very spacious and clean!

Parking was a bit far when we had to bring our luggage to the aparment, which was on the 2nd floor

Location wise and value for money is great, have aircon, easy access , in the city center with a nice view , beside church have fresh market in morning, people are friendly and accommodating 😉😉😉😍

There is a washing machine but not a tumble dryer. Without the tumble dryer I couldn't really use the washing machine. The shower head holder was the wrong size and the shower head was falling out of the holder.
Very nice and spacious apartment located in the centre of the town. Shops, restaurants and cafés are within walking distance. Parking is in front of the building.

There was impatient cleaning lady who was knocking on me one hour before checkout and she was there to take the keys immediatelly when I left the room. I know it was Saturday morning and she wanted to go home, but this rush was only small bad thing on otherwise perfect stay.
Nice, clean, easy to reach at the good location.

There is no fridge in the room.
I liked our room. Super comfy bed, clean and beautiful with lovely photo on the wall. Very warm inside. :) Great underground parking, bus stop is very close to the hotel. It was very quiet outside too. Kind stuff, asked if we need anything.

If you feel disturbed by the bell ringing of the ancient church, you are in the wrong place here. I found it very romantic.
After my arrival in Pisek I immediately got the keys of my apartment in the great restaurant which is located on the ground floor of the apartment. The appartment is totally new and super clean. Nothing is missing: coffee or tea maker, stove, microwave, refrigerator, cutlery, dishes, bath towels... everything, really everything is there. Super fine blanket and upholstery have ensured a restful sleep... I'll be back and then hopefully I'll have time to dine in the exclusive restaurant. Thank you very much.

The noise from the restaurant on the ground floor at night might be slightly annoying if you want to have fresh air as well (but closing the windows helped). It would be good to add one reading lamp so it is on both sides of the bed.
The accommodation, the staff and the location were excellent. So was the food in the restaurant. The appartment is comfortable, well furnished with some nice touches (e.g. a hair-dryer, a washing machine or a coffee maker with the coffee capsules).

The fridge was a bit noisy during the night and there was no dish towel.
Great location within the city center with parking just opposite for reasonable price, beautiful church bells ringing :), Italian restaurant down stars so I ordered my dinner there, easy to pick up and hand-over the keys, the attic apartment was new and nicely decorated, simply furnished, very quiet, complimentary tea and coffee, air-conditioning in the room, absolute privacy.

Air condition was not functioning (end of May) and the owner refused to give us the remote control because it wasn't summer yet! Towel heater didn't work. Entrance to the hotel is through the back of the restaurant's kitchen which is not appropriate. There is no lobby and no reception. The appartment has not been cleaned during our 2 nights stay.
The appartment was very clean, the location is excellent and Peter the host was great.

We were to leave the keys at the restaurant when departing but it wasn't open and you needed the keys to get out of the building. Fortunately there was another guest outside so we could go back up and leave the keys in our room and she could lock up. As an apartment in which one could cook, the only supplies were salt and pepper so we didn't cook there but there was a fridge and the restaurant was great. There was a washer but no detergent so we needed to buy that. Some of those issues are not a big deal but would have been nice to know ahead of time.
The location was excellent and the co-located restaurant was wonderful. Prices were great.
