Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

SloveniaThe spacious room comfortably accommodated four beds, providing space for everyone. All the essentials for a weekend stay were readily available - from kitchen utensils to bathroom amenities. Free parking just under the apartment is handy. The keys in the locker and door code are great for entering, so there was no need for coordination with the host. And it's close to the centre.

IsraelOne of the windows blinds was not functional so we had light from the street in the room at night. I believe that the owner will fix it, its nothing serious.
Probably one of the best apartment we been too. First of all, the size is really great. The bed is comfy (hard matress) and the whole apartment is really clean and new. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need, we felt at home. The best part: there are available public transport, wine and snacks in the kitchen which you can pay on when you leave and the prices are very very fair. If you are with a kid there are even available toys! What a nice attention for details :) I can just recommend!

Czech RepublicThe outdoor blinds were rather difficult to operate for us. The passing trains are noisy but they are small, pass quickly and do not operate at night, only early morning there was maybe one.
Location, parking, spacious room, tea/coffee facility, minibar, everything we needed was there. Even umbrellas which we did not need 😉. We arrived after 9pm, no problem, with detailed description in e-mail it was easy to find the key and get into the room.

SwedenThere is a small diesel train that passes right by the balcony a few times an hour. Bring good earplugs for sleeping. The balcony wiew is of train tracks.
This apartment has a small kitchen but no breakfast was served by the host.

NorwayAs other reports, the train is really noisy. It was extremely hot in the apartment, I didn't find any way to control the heat. Air-conditioning did not work, make sure that you test this before the host leaves. Double bed was extremely hard, the extra bed was better. No sofa to sit on.
Parking place was great, modern building in a central location. Near the tram line. All the amenities that you normally need are there.
