Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicHotel is in the center of the city. It is quiet place. Parking is not possible in the hotel or in front of the hotel (it is restricted area,only for citizens with special permission). But public parking is very close to hotel and the price is OK. Breakfast was delicious with variety of the food. Also coffe was nice.

The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful - but when I arrived there was nobody at reception. The bed and sheets were super comfortable. The room was perfectly clean and breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

GermanyThe windows in our room were facing the street and were apprently rather thin, so on the first night we could hear people speaking outside. Also, there were construction works on the adjacent building and they woke us up both mornings during our stay. The main issue with this is that we are talking about a Saturday and, even worse, a Sunday morning. Of course not responsibility of the hotel, but better soundproofing would be of help.
Very good breakast, the personnel were incredibly nice and attentive. The room was in very good condition and beds were very, very comfortable.

Hungaryroom was located under the roof and facing southwest side and by the end of the day was wormed up to a Sauna level. The room didn't have air conditioning but had half working fan which didn't really help.

Czech RepublicThe ridiculous price, the soulless decor (you'd think a hotel called "Hotel Art" might actually have art on the walls, rather than dull stock photos of flowers), the mediocre cleaning job done by the cleaning staff (beds not properly made, towels not replaced), the lack of parking near the hotel (in spite of the Booking.com listing stating that parking is available, we were directed to a car park 1 km from the hotel).
The continental breakfast was fine, albeit typical chain hotel fare. The sole member of staff we spoke to was friendly and polite, the location was a good starting point for walks through the town.
