How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was cold outside, but we new it in advance that the chalet does not stay warm during night, so we knew what we are going for. We were carrying bed sheets and sleeping bags due to other previous overnight stays, so we used it all.
Perfect smell of the forest in the night, in the evening and during day. Great clean toilets and showers (but very steep stairs). Warming up in the morning before the chalet eating breakfas. Foot distance to Adrspaske and Teplicke skaly. Raspberries on the bushes around at the end of July :D

We booked an overnight stay there after a freezing night in a tent, and it was just as freezing. Zero heating and no insulation of the huts.
The hotel restaurant served tasty food and good beer, and the bathrooms provided for the huts were very clean. Great location just by the red trail from Adrspach. Just to note, the amenities in the huts are super basic (e.g., no table) but it was enough for us. Except...

The lack of any furniture in the tiny houses, no chair or table to prepare breakfast or dinner, not even a door mat to clean of the grass that leads to the houses.
The location was awesome in the middle of Dolni Adrspach, 200m from the main Adrspach road, on a slope with a quite nice view. 30 minute walk / 5 minute drive to Adršpašskoteplické skály and Teplické skály. There was no toilet in the houses but one big "community" toiled / washroom that was surprisingly clean and well kept.

It isn’t clear when booking that there is a larger hotel that it’s connected to. So it was not as remote as we thought it would be. While it was nice to have dinner/breakfast etc as options very close, the larger hotel pumped loud discotheque music into the air until quite late. We weren’t looking for a party vibe, which is why I am noting this on things we didn’t enjoy.
Lovely little space situated only 5 minutes from the rocks of Ardspach and away from the tourist craziness. Our chalet was up the hill and like a little retreat.

The mattresses were a little dirty, they do not offer their own bedding, so you need to have your own sleeping bag. The chalet is „empty” inside, but you know beforehand what you pay for. It was even better than expected.
Very quite place, we liked a lot the location. The bathroom was very clean and not at all busy. There are 5 of those chalets, quite far away from each other, so you can feel comfortable there. There were two of us so it was more than enough space, but it has room for many more people. The staff let us leave our luggage on site before check-in. Very pleasant place,

Too steep to go to the toilets/shower - it felt like a workout. No soap in toilets, no toilet paper after 8pm. Otherwise the toilets/showers look modern and clean. The cottage is very basic, bunk bed on the bottom and two mattresses on the floor on the top (we havent used them). Need to bring your own beddings, not problem for us, but the mattresses seemed to be dirty. We don't recommend the restaurant- the young waiter was very nice, however the food was very salty - and the meat was hard.
