The matress/bed felt a bit old. Not really an issue.

Great stay in a convenient and nice location. We stayed one night as a stopover. The owner took great care to make sure we were happy and warmly welcomed us with a nice cold beer, a bit of history about Karlovy Vary and tips for places to have dinner. The parking is on the roof of the hotel and is accessible from an elevated parallel street and he personally guided us there but it was not difficult at all. We arrived much earlier than expected but this also was no problem and he had everything ready for us. The rooms are very clean and there is no noise from outside.

Werner was an excellent host, making us feel at home in his 300 year old hotel. We did not use any facilities, but the room was comfortable and clean. He guided us personally to the parking for our motorcycle on the back side of the hotel.

Wifi signal on the third floor is very weak.

I booked a room for two and they gave us a spacious triple room with a lovely view of the main promenade. Everything was very clean and tidy. There is a small refrigerator, an electric kettle, cups and plates in the room.

Be aware that parking and driving need careful pre-booking and reservation.

This is a classic Inn which has somehow survived a century of changes. A rich experience in itself but also beautifully positioned in the heart of the main area. The owners are charming, and very knowledgeable about Sudetenland history. It is a simple travellers hotel, very affordable and simple.

The hotel isn't a luxurious one which is expected for the price.

The hotel is in an excellent location. If you are coming by bus, keep walking along the canal and don't take the first high stairs as recommended by Google Maps. The hotel is simple and clean. Breakfast is OK. The lovely lady's owner doesn't speak English but her son does. He offered to drive me to the new town in his car. The view from my room was very nice. There is a good restaurant and a supermarket next to the hotel.

Everything seemed good to me. Good value for its price. I could hear some of the people from other rooms leave, but that was it and it wasn’t really a problem for me😅

The owners of the place are super friendly and knowledgeable about the city. If you are a person who likes history, that is the place to visit. The owner of the place told me the story of the place - and I could tell that's very exciting. I was sort of able to see the transformation of the place through the years. There are even some items that could have been in the museums there.

Nothing, it was the best!

I loved the view! I had specifically asked for a city view and they arranged it. It has the most spectacular views of the city and it was so dreamy! The rooms were extremely clean and had all the amenities. The owners were so welcoming and helpful.

Rooms to small, with windows facing the inner gallery of the building, with little light in the room. But for one night was ok.

The location in the very heart of the old town, the old building, though nicely renovated, the basic facilities, comfy beds, very good breakfast. Parking place on the back terrace of the hotel, but have to reserve in advance. But most of all the host, Werner, a very kind and helpful person all the time!

The local administration has tried to create a car-free zone in the old town. A great idea, but unfortunately not very well implemented. Visitors coming for the first time find it extremely difficult to understand the rules, find their way to the parking lots and finally their hotel. You need to plan an extra hour for this final stage of your journey. Or use taxi.

Perfect location in the old city, close to all restaurants and pubs, but not noisy at all. Very large room with nice city view. Breakfast was also very good.

The host is really good and makes you feel welcome. Room was great, enjoyed the breakfast too. It's really good value for the expensive centre of Karlovy Vary, highly recommend it.

I've been to hundreds of places to stay, but this is definitely one of the best. Clean, quiet place. My room had everything I needed. The location is right in the middle of the old town of Karlovy Vary. The lodge has its own secure parking area. The breakfast is excellent. Wifi is good. The best of all, however, are the owners, mother and son. They are really helpful and pleasant. Right from the start I felt right at home. If you are planning to travel to Karlovy Vary, don't even consider any other place to stay.
