How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Poorly equipped rooms (some chairs and a table might be nice), no locks in toilets and showers, lack of possibility to adjust temperature on a radiator in our room (it was really hot at night).
The rooms are quite new and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, location is OK just 10 minutes from bus stop to city market, nice online check-in and access to the building and room through codes. Free parking.

The parking was not always easy.
Very clean, quiet and I liked that the room had a very pleasant temperature. Superb surroundings - beautiful parc nearby.

Yelling outside the house one night and trying to get in, did not feel safe alone at that moment because there is no staff present at the house. Would have loved to have a writing desk in the room instead of the three tiny coffee tables that where there.
I liked the location because I had an event very close by and it was very easy to walk there every day. Bed was also very good and I enjoyed the dark curtains so I could sleep during the morning as well when it was already light outside. Fridge in the room was also excellent add on.

Don't consider this as an hotel. Few small rooms created in a massive house. No towels, not even a bathroom rug, no TV, not working bedside lamp. Just in front of the door of my room was a kitchen and a washing machine so smell and noise levels were quite high. It was clean, as it's new, but it probably won't stay like that for long.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. One fridge in the room. Check-in and check-out process was easy.

Remote management gone wrong. We came here at 21:00 after 12 hours of driving. All I wanted was shower and a bed. But internet registration gone wrong. For unknown reasons I could not get the PIN of rooms electronic lock. Then I called the support and got the pin, but the lock was not working. Finally support lady unlocked room remotely, but somebody had to be all the time in the room, because the lock was still not working.
Good location, good price. Ok for 1 night while travel.

Not possible to take a shower! Absolutely no towels, even not small towel for face..no soup or shower gel. Is it really hotel? First time in my life in hotel no towels or shower gel. Am I suppose to bring my towel from Italy for 1 night stay in Plzen? What is logic of such decision of owner, I don’t understand. Or I should go to some store in the night,what is far away, for to buy 1 towel for 1 night? There is also no possibility to rent towel for 1 night. Really in all the building no towels. Well, on my opinion , this 3€ of economy on towels are not worth to have just bad reviews because of that. I could pay more for to have towel. But my stay was ruined already. I used to have shower after long travel day. And there was no possibility to do it. Not comfortable because not enough 2 details: towel and shower gel.
I like that there is PIN code to the door. It makes check in easy. I like also, check in system. Easy.

I didn't sleep, the main door of the building was opened and closed / slammed every 5 mins . The door of the room doesn't isolate 1% of the talks in the corridor or the noises. I couldn't sleep at all. All night from 00:00 midnight until the morning it was screams and shouting and noises, especially the main door closing. I am sure that the doors isolation is by no official standards an approved door. Mattress not relaxing, linens do not include towels,bed covers didn't seem to be new. General cleanliness is 5/10. Area outside under construction.
