Like the previous time I stayed here in last summer - it was an amazing experience, indeed. I was lucky even to get my accommodation at 5 A.M., even though my request was not earlier considered - so, special thanks to amazing hosts! Comfot (bed was suuuuper-comfortable), breakfasts (special love ❤️) and all the rest is much more, than the usual hostel would usually suggest. Looking forward to stay there next time!

The wifi signal didn't reach some spots in the room e.g. the bed which was the one facing the window - I had to stretch my hands a little towards the door to access it.

Without a doubt the most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed. All the amenities needed for free e.g. hair dryer, shower gel, towel. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Bonus the very good restaurant.

Breakfast was very delicious, but I think the price was a bit to high to not have even a single fresh made caffetterie included.

Really, really lovely accomodation to enjoy the beautiful Olomouc. Very near to the cathedral and the city center, it is a very cozy and quiet ambient with such great outside space to enjoy evening drinks or a ouside breakfast. Large rooms and good distance between beds to assure some privacy, tag name system to assure the autonomy in choosing accomodation, quite spaceful wardrobe (if you don't have locks, you can request at the reception). Pay attention to the wallsocket, it would be quite 'hide'. Common bathrooms are good too, very spacious single shower cabin and provvided phon stations. The staff is very warm and gentle, absolutely lovely as the entire experience.

It would have been nice to have more of a social area for guests, maybe even a kitchen. It’s felt very hotel lobby, so hard to mingle with people. Additional/closer storage for the upper beds would ideal too.

The beds and rooms are super comfortable, everything feels clean and tidy, the bathrooms are large, and the staff are lovely.

Layout of dorm rooms could have been more considered - downstairs beds were exposed to others coming in late etc. Communal spaces shared with cafe meant that music was playing constantly, and would have been nicer to have more quiet, secluded space that didn't feel like a lobby

Room was tidy and spacious and with helpful segregation of beds on mezzanine. Communal areas included plenty of area for sitting and resting. Good, varied buffet breakfast and restaurant downstairs was excellent. Bathrooms clean and well decorated. Location was fantastic and plenty of recommendations for things to do locally.

The best hostel I've stayed in so far. Great value for the price, awesome interior and location, nice staff. Just feel a bit sorry for not being there for some event or trying local café and restaurant... Definitely have to keep more time for that next time!

No gripes at all, happy days

This hostel is amazing!! The best I’ve ever stayed in and I think will be very hard to beat! The dormitory was huge and very thoughtfully designed so that each bed has its own private space. I felt like I was in a hotel! The bed was really comfy, you get a towel without having to pay extra, and the bathrooms were amazing and clean as well. The girl at the desk was really lovely. Such a good experience, can’t recommend this place more!!

One little negative: no blinds on the windows and some of them are quite old and would need to be fixed.

Beautiful and cosy hostel with a cafe and bakery. Rooms are so spacious, everyone gets their own single bed, bed side table with lamp and cupboard space. Bathrooms are outside the room and spotless at all times. The architecture of the building is stunning with the arches and the subtle neon lights in the hallway. Tons of sitting areas and a water station as well. Lots of little touches that made my stay very relaxing and definitely made me want to come back.

We had a wedding at Long Story Short and everything was absolutely seamless. The staff, the comfort, the food — everything. This place is now engraved in our hearts and we can’t wait to come back. Wow! Never seen a hostel like this one! Amazing place! They have made something outstanding in this old, beautiful building! Everything over there - rooms, bathroom, cafe, restaurant are exceptional! It was one of the highlights of my trip to Olomouc! I will definitely stay over ther next time! very reasonable price!

There is totally not a thing I did not like about the place. Sorry, I have to leave this one out :)

To tell this place is amazing - is to tell nothing! This is ten times amazing! Truly! The location inside of a beautiful city centre of an nacient Olomouc, close to the shopping centre and other things you could usually need in a city. The staff are SUPER-helpful, polite and kind. The 6-bed room I stayed in is HUGE, with as much privacy as you cannot expect from the hostel. Breakfast is delicious, as they have their own bakery and a fantastic Eatery onthe other side. The interior, and the whole concept of this place is thoughful and stylish. Finally - the price is more than fair and you can add or refuse a breakfast which is 200 Czech korunas. It is definitely so far the best hostel and a place to stay in overall I've ever been too! Thank you the owners and the whole dedicated team of the Long Story Short 💙💛
