Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelI booked a room for me and my husband and our 6yo son. As we arrived, the stuff informed us that our kid can't use the pools and saunas as it's not intended for people who are less then 145 cm of height. It would be nice and professional to inform about it as we booked a room. This information was provided in the long automatic message from the hotel that was written in Czech. I believe that hotel of this class should be more transparent and upfront and personal. Aside from this our only complaint is about the beds that are really soft and uncomfortable.
The hotel is designed very beautifully, spa-centre is picturesque and full of different types of saunas and pool. Also, they have very tasty breakfasts with a lot of options.

SlovakiaWhile inside the room, you can hear many noises outside, isolation of the rooms is very poor. Wellness is NOT included in the price and should be stated way better in booking, so it came as a huge surprize that it was paid, also there is an inside parking and is paid even if you stay in the hotel, I was snowing while I was there and I parked outside because the inside is paid regardless if you are staying or not, the wellness is great but due to the fact that everyone can come it was very crowded at times and not so pleasant, I wish they at least would limit the number of people inside, the wellness is done in a way to make money, they charge u for everything, even water, seen one fountain only where water was free.
The Breakfast is good, the parking is huge, which is great, and the staff is very friendly! The food in the hotel restaurant is great, Location is good too, but we didn't go around. Wellness was very nice.

Czech RepublicIt was a public holiday in Czech Republic and hotel was fully booked. At breakfast we couldn't find available table and had to wait. When we asked personnel about the table they were very rude and replied in very unprofessional manner. Spa isn't included if you stay in the hotel. It's a separate organisation and it means it's available not only for hotel guests. There was 2 hours queue outside. Considering the fact that people choose this hotel because of spa in most cases the hotel doesn't pay attention to maximum capacity of hotel and spa area. It was very uncomfortable. If you want to enjoy your stay better choose the days during the week.
Big parking, even though the hotel was fully booked it was possible to find the place. Nice breakfast. We appreciated the opportunity to order dinner to our room. Netflix available.

HungaryCharging extra for the wellness facility in a wellness hotel for hotel guests is ridiculous. That makes a negative feeling for the entire stay.
The spa area is exceptional, especially the sauna choices. The environment is also great.

PolandThe hotel claims soundproof walls, which is plainly not true (and also **very important to me**) we needed to move to another room due to a very noisy neighbour. The staff did move us, but this was after a somewhat ruined night. The reception did switch our rooms, but then they botched their internal reservation system and gave cards to our room to another couple. I did take a shower with open bathroom doors at that time. Since the reception staff started giving key-cards to random people I started using room safe. The safe battery ran out, which locked car-keys inside until hotel staff fixed the safe. . . which delayed out plans in Brno. AC was rather loud (in the both rooms were in). It was loud to a point where we didn't want to sleep with AC on, which would be fine as we could just open a window, but the outside was also loud, either due to some people partying in their terraces, or due to some infrastructure (no idea what maybe some outdoor AC unit?) that made some irritating sounds. Wifi was slow, and not prepared for full hotel occupancy as it was unusable during the weekends, and slow-ish but working on the weekdays. Some restaurant staff and room service staff know only minimal english. The pool is paid and crowded due to the amount of external people coming to SPA. Also due to external people the hotel is always busy and somewhat loud. Restaurant serves tasty food but vegan options are (almost) non-existent and vegetarian options are very limited. Last but not least the restaurant serves breakfast from 8 to 10 AM during the weekdays (which is a rather short time). Also due to that the restaurant is super-crowded, and the queues to the coffee maker were ridiculous (10 minutes?). To sum it up: I have been in 2 star hotels with comparable experience. And was rather disappointed by the place.
Beds are really, really nice. I like hard mattresses and these were perfect. The restaurant serves really tasy food. Room service is great. The reception staff is very polite.

AustriaPools were payable.. we did not know that before coming. They we're also open for public and not just for the hotel guests so they we're crowded. They say that they have a limit on how maney people can enter but they really don't.. you cant relax at all. Also the prices are crazy.. its around 20+ € for 2 hours per person. It would be better to just pay more while booking the room.. we have to keep chaching the clock not to over stay. Also the water is not clean since people are drinking in the water and they spilled drinks. Breakfast: stale, only small amount of options to chose from, no warm milk option. Rooms: air conditioning set to 23 and after changing to +3 resets regularly, terrace shared with multiple other rooms (no separation), hard bad, no sound isolation so all the time you could hear noises from other rooms or the hallway (even during the night). Personal: all the personal was really nice and friendly. All mails and initial contact is in Czech language even if provided language was English. Shuttle bus is not to the city but just a 5 min. ride to one of the tram stations that is around 20/30 min from the city center. We left a day early and they wanted us to pay for our stay even tho we paid over booking. We had a dog with us and for the animal you are supposed to pay at the property just the nights that they stay there, but we had to pay for all the nights even if he wasn't there. He only stayed for 2 nights.
The staff was friendly.

SlovakiaPlease indicate much clearer that wellness is not for free. If hotel is called Wellness, one can judge that wellness will be included, no?

United KingdomI have stayed many times before and I am afraid to say it is not as good as before. The trainee lady at reception was unhelpful and sometimes difficult. The resort was packed. breakfast was Chaos with too many people. The rooms are quite small and modest with only a shower and quite hard beds. I am sorry to say my next stay in Brno I will probably visit the spa as a day guest and stay in another local hotel. one night two rooms 2 adults and a child cost over 10,000 czk so it’s not cheap which is fine if accompanied by a friendly greeting and good facilities and service
The property had an amazing health spa. The restaurant waiting staff were friendly and accommodating.

Czech RepublicI was very disappointed as the promotion of the hotel on Booking.com stated it was a ****hotel, but the room I got was placed in a ***part which was not mentioned anywhere visibly. I have found the information when I checked all the conditions with small letters :-(.
