Wonderful house in a beautiful village with extremely nice hosts! It's so quiet and peaceful there! There is no common kitchen, but we had a fridge and microwave in a room and a BBQ area with all needed outside. Also, there are a couple of restaurants not far away.

A way to parking lot can be tricky to find and there is a hill which I am not sure if I could get in and out in the winter with a snow. It is fine in the summer.

- Location: it's a small village on a hill and well connected with a bus. We even got a nice view of the hills and the forest through the window. The location is also very convenient to hike to the gorges nearby. - Cleanliness: we stayed at the attic and it was very clean, the toilets, beds, sheets, etc were kept neat and clean. - Amenities: Even if it was an attic, it had comfortable beds, tv, a cute window, small fridge, kettle to warm up water, a microwave, etc. So, unless you are cooking, it should be enough to stay for a day or two.

The bathroom lock was not working very well and the autolight there had short time-span, so when you take shower it turns off very quickly, but there was small light above the mirror, so overall it was manageble.

The host was very friendly and welcoming! The room and the bathroom were very comfortable, it felt like everything was though through (the bedroom had microwave, mini-fridge, toaster and electric kettle). There was all necessary tableware for eating too. We had a very nice view outside. Everything was very clean and cozy! Location is pretty good, it's 5 minutes away from Mezná bus stop (although bus schedule is not frequent) and there are several great hiking trails around Mezná.

The property is absolutely fantastic. You pay for a room, but you get much much more. There is tea and coffee facilities in the room, including toaster, plates, fridge and MW. In the upstairs hallway you have further cups, plates, tea pot, forks and knifes. Simply all what you need. Bathroom is big with two sinks. All the house is very very clean and smells fresh. The owner is very hospitable. The big garden with deck chairs and little terase is a fantastic bonus. Don't forget to turn right by the pension NA VYHLIDCE and you will come straight to a lovely car park of the house from the top. On the way, you will enjoy a lovely view and if lucky you can see a PRAVCICKA ARCHWAY just about 200 m from the entrance gate to the house. I am traveling a lot all over Europe, this is one of my favorite. We were very happy there and I can only very much recommend this house with three bedrooms and one apartment. The area offers a lot to see.

We stayed in the attic room which was advertised as family room and found it very uncomfortable. Stairs are a real hazard especially if you need to carry your baby or toddler, the ceiling is so low you can only walk straight along one line in the middle of the room and you can't take a shower standing upright. There are only 2 tiny windows so you can't ventilate, it must be hellish hot in summer. Very bad smell coming from the shower, you need to keep it closed at all times or keep your breath while going to the bathroom. Communication with the owners was difficult, we were met with rather brisk and unfriendly responses and only heard in almost incomprehensible German or English that it is our fault, after all I had seen the pictures on booking.com. We left one day early and they didn't give any refund which however I do understand. Overall a very bad experience and very much below standard for such a budget accomodation. Avoid if you can.

The stairs up to the room were weird, with strange cut-outs in them, so you had to be very careful going up and down. The worst thing was the 'bathroom of death', across the hall (not en-suite). Inside were steps up to four different levels, so an incautious step backwards while at the washbasin would have ended with you falling backwards and cracking your head on the tiled floor. The toilet was also hard to get on to. Another irritation was that the morning of our arrival they sent an email asking for two hours notice of our arrival, which was quite hard since we were walking, and couldn't estimate when we would reach them with any accuracy. As it happens, when we arrived it seemed that the family had been in all afternoon.

The room had a fridge, kettle and microwave, though they were tucked under the eaves where anyone over 4 feet tall would struggle to access them.

Awful sewage smell from the bathroom, especially in the attic. Narrow and steep stairs, bit unsafe, but kids enjoy the fun going up and down the stairs :(

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing surrounding. Playground for kids. Comfortable beds, clean, nice view from the window in the attic bedroom.

Accessing the location without your personal car is a chore. The bus time tables at the bus stop were not updated and confusing. There are no stores or supermarkets around to buy groceries, which is fine -- but we were not informed of any of these points (this info is also not available online). For the latest public transport connections, please use this site : https://idos.idnes.cz/en/vlakyautobusymhdvse/spojeni/ It is recommended to have 2-3 days worth of eatables handy before coming here. Its better to stock up on bottled water too, as the tap water here had a yellowish color.

The views were nice and the hosts were friendly. Our stay was pleasant overall.
