Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBreakfast, sadly, can be improved with having other options, like for toast or porridge. A more filling start of the day kind of breakfast. Pillows can be improved, they are too soft and thin, and they lack support for the neck for clients who have skeletal problems like myself. My 3 nights I struggled to get a good sleep. The coffee corner was not available until my day of check out. That was a big disappointment. I did not say anything because I thought it was not included. Please have a bottle or 2 in the fridge, that'll will be great at least when your guests arrive and then they can buy the next days of their stay.
The location and access to public transport are great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bed has a firm supportive mattress and clean,

United Arab EmiratesThere is no available kettle to borrow, though staff is generous enough to give hot water if needed. Hot room, because it's summer (stayed in last week of Aug.), a fan would be a plus. Open windows can be a problem with a light sleeper since the hotel is situated in front of a tram station - which makes it accessible to go to the city centre. A few minutes walk from the metro C. Saturday and Sunday closed restaurants.
Location: It's near Metro C, and with tram stops just outside the hotel. Helpful staff, just ask, and they will try to help you in any way they can. Helpful and friendly hotel staff.

GermanyRoom was a bit smelly because of the carpets I guess. There were some spider nets in the wardrobe. And the room was too hot and unfortunately we couldnot open the window at night beacuse our room was in the entrance floor and it was facing the street. We felt unsecure. Fence would work.

United KingdomNot so much didn't like but, for a hotel, I found it quite strange that all the signs on reception and on the front door ( which is always locked) are only in Czech so messing around with Google translate trying to understand better (or add 'Hotel' as a sign to whichever of the 4 buzzers is the hotel). Useful to add English,German, Spanish perhaps so to cater for the masses?
I wasn't looking for anything fancy was a decent price in high season and it did the job for the night. Nice big room, shower fine.

It was quite close to the public transport lines. It was clean and comfortable. We liked that the rooms were adequately cool given the peak of summers. The staff was quite supportive and helping. Though there were no fridge or kettle in our rooms. They helped us keep our stuff in their common refrigerator and also provide warm water as needed. It was a pleasant stay for us, not too far from most places. We would certainly recommend this to everyone.
