It was a bit challenging to place all the pillows (really many of different sizes) from the bed around the room, as there was no wardrobe. :)

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, giving local advice as where to have dinner, etc. We were upgraded to an even quieter room overlooking the garden, and indeed it was nicely calm. There was complimentary water and coffee/tea in the room. For the breakfast, they made us feel important as guests by making sure we as vegetarians had choices as well.

Everything. This is a gorgeous, quirky hotel with a fantastic attention to detail. The little garden off the annex is beautiful, they've provided a candle and matches, rug if you're cold, biscuits if you're hungry. Delicious breakfast with an amazing spread for such a small place. Cannot recommend this place too highly. We loved it and would love to have stayed longer.

Being so close to the square is great, but means also you might be exposed to some noise (chatter, laughter...) from the outside extending to the night. If you are sensitive to this, and have a room facing the street (we had such), and you like to keep your window open over night, I recommend to have your ear plugs ready. Be aware there is no A/C in rooms - which is OK most of the time though.

Excellent location (few steps from the square), beautiful old building, tiny and sweet. Very friendly staff. Pets are welcome. Excellent breakfast with solid variety despite the hotel being a small one. Staff provided us with ventilator upon our request. Public parking for acceptable price (80 CZK / day) very close.

this hotel was a convenient base of operations in the vastly overrated town of Telc ( only one decent restaurant ,the Zamek closed for restoration and the main church locked). it was more like spending a night with friends to stay here. an old building had been ingeniously restored, the feel was of a family dwelling. the beds were extremely comfortable. the bathroom was luxurious

The only downside was the parking was slightly farther away than we had thought, but the town is so small, it was fine, just a little tricky to figure out. All and all it was wonderful and highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was super cozy and festive, we had our own Christmas Tree. The room was very spacious and the TV was brand new! The location was super central.

The room we had did not have any central air conditioning (it heating that we could see). It got very steamy after using the shower.

Hotel is smack in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which ranks among the most beautiful villages in Europe. We were in the annex building which has benefit of having a lovely, private terrace overlooking the old city moat. Room was nice with a great shower. And a nice touch is that hotel provides free cookies—that are really good!
