The rooms and the bathroom were nice, clean and modern. The beds were comfy. The breakfast buffet was great. Our hiking path in Saxon Switzerland was just a 10 minute drive away. The host was very friendly and spoke perfect english.

Dominik is a wonderful host. He takes time for every guest. The breakfast was also great. They even offered my girlfriend additional vegan options. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean. We can warmly recommend the guesthouse. We would definitely come again! We loved the place.

It's in Hřensko, the Czech size of the Bad Schandau area, and you can get there by taking the S-Bahn train to Schoena (the German side), then cross the river by ferry. Location-wise it's in the middle of all hiking routes and landmarks, so I'd highly suggest people stay in this hostel instead of the core Bad Schandau area. The guy who welcomed us was very nice, recommending us a few restaurants we could go to in the town. Breakfast was classic European style, and the scrambled eggs were so creamy! We got a room with a balcony facing the Elbe River, the beds are comfy, perfect for a short stay! They have plenty of space for parking if you drive.

The pension was very clean and quiet. We were on the street side but did not hear traffic or the trains with the windows shut and did not hear the other hotel guests. The pension is newly and tastefully renovated. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good, and the breakfast room was bright and cheerful. We really appreciated the in-room safe so we didn't need to hike with all our valuables. The pension was also an excellent value.

We have traveled through the county. Pension Jitřenka was an exceptional place compared to alternatives in the region. Super clean rooms and common areas. Nicely renovated building. Cozy kitchen, fully equipped with everything needed. Super fresh breakfast!

Pension Jitřenka Hřensko is one of the most comfortable and clean places we stayed in, everything is great about this hotel the location which is overlooking the river and close to most of the attractions nearby, exceptional breakfast with a great varieties, cleanliness of the room, very helpful staff, if I had to visit Hřensko again I would for sure stay again in this hotel.

hotel is at a very beautiful location overlooking the Elbe and the mountains behind make it very scenic. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast too was good. special mention about the hotel owner who was very welcoming and super helpful. Overall very beautiful experience at Jitrenka!! and we surely will visit again.
