Hotel location was optimal for our specific needs, but it may not be for everyone. Close to a large mall, but not much else. We had a very warm welcome from the friendly receptionist of the hotel. She checked our booking, we got all details we needed (wifi, times of breakfast, 24 hours front desk in case we would need something,...) and she told us how to get to the city centre (there is a bus next to Tesco or you can walk). You don't have to pay for the car park in front of the hotel. The room (and the whole hotel) was very clean and nice. There is a little kitchen in the room, a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bed and a little desk with seat. The upper floors can be reached by lift. Next to the hotel is Tesco (which is open till the late evening) for little things to buy. The hotel is situated quite fine for walking to the city centre. It took us just about 20 minutes along the main road to get there. Breakfast is served as a buffet with many different things to choose from. Very delicious. The check-out was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at Vaka hotel and will be back next time we visit Brno.

Located next to an ash fly concrete production facility, which makes the hotel good only for non-leisure stays.

Good value for the stay. Free parking, breakfast on place. However, the coffee machine was broken at breakfast. They did offer alternative from capsules but not real coffee. Breakfast was basic, but ok.

The room was spacious, there was a kichenette with a sink and a fridge. Very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. It was quite and one can rest really well. There is a big shopping center just 1-2 min away. Breakfast was not very big but it had everything one needs.

Cosy 4-star-hotel near Brno center (3km). Clean and spacious room, w/ small but well prepd kitchenette, offers microwave owen and frigo. The breakfast room is open 24/7, offers great coffee all day long. Shopping mall is nearby with foodcourt, open from 0700-2200. Public transportation is the best way to travel into downtown, we used Bus 67, the historical center is about 12 minutes. Vaka has the own protector, a female cat serves as defender of the compound.-) Really cute katty..

Great place near lovely hill walks. Excellent location for our meeting and see places like Villa Tugendhat. We walked there across the hills. Very nice and friendly staff. Parking available. Right next to shopping mall. Will return again. Thank you
