How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was a coffeemaker on the room, but without coffee. There was a little hot during night. I've tried to lower heating, but it didn't help.
Very nice, large, comfortable apartment. Very good location, breakfast, bathroom, 2 toilets. Parking, wifi, online check-in/out

Breakfast was excellent. I wish if they could mention food names in English along with ingredients. It was bit difficult for me to find out which made with pork coz I don't eat pork... however overall it's one of the best...

Unfortunately because of contactless entrance we were not able to park, we came to the hotel at 22:10 when the reception wasn’t working already and the pin for the parking didn’t work even though we paid for the parking, we tried to call to reception but no one was already answering. So we had to park outside even though parking was paid
Great location, decent breakfast with the various options, very quiet and jalousie helping to make the complete dark in the room. Nice idea with the contactless stay

Pillows could be better.
Clean room and facility in general. Near to city center, parking functional and spacious. Very good breakfast with decent selection of fresh foods. Wifi working perfectly, gentle and carefull staff with good command in english. Supersatisfied

at the evening we got a bit cold and could not figure out how the heating works.. - early November..
we enjoyed the online check in, and also check out.. basically no need to talk to anyone :-) the breakfest was beyond expectations... there was also one man listening to his phone on a higher volume and staff came to nicely tell him to shut it down as the other guests wanna enjoy a quiet morning.. that I appreciated a lot.

Wi-fi quality seems to differ in different parts of the house. But it was sufficient.
Very nice place, quiet, close to the centre, very clean. Good parking at a reasonable price. The dog was welcome. The room was a bit small for 4 grown-ups but we managed just fine. We could even have our laundry washed (came back nearly dry the same day) free of charge. Breakfast is ample!

Room furnishings were rather simpler, some of the interiors rather older. However, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and most things were of decent quality too.

It was amazing! Such a wonderful apartment with a magical view and a bathroom 😍😍😍it was just a few minutes tothe city centre and from Pilzen Shopping Center.

No lift, unfortunately, on a 5 levels building this is not to be undervalued..... With a lift it would have been perfect!

There was no lift in the hotel. We came with a baby trolley. We had to carry it all the way up to the third floor. There was a think carpet on the floor and you feel dust on it. Surely not recommended for some one who is suffering with alergy. There was no air-condition in the room, just a fan, which may not be the best choice for all.
The breakfast was really good. The location is also good- close to the center. Rooms are small, but they are enough for shorter stay.
