Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLeaving Prague and the Pod Vezy was sweet sorow.
What a superb hotel. It has every amenity you could possibly want or imagine. The location is terrific, right at the Charles Bridge, but virtually soundless which made for terrific sleeping. It's a 2-3 minute walk to the tram stop which is free with ID for those 65 or older. Every single service person at Pod Vezi was so kind, polite, helpful, competent, and, dare I say it, amazing. The hotel is truly world class, and ALL of its employees, beginning with housekeeping, reception, the restaurant (exceptional buffet breakfast and we ate dinner in the restaurant on 2 of the 5 nights of our stay) are people the hotel should be very proud of. Well done.

United StatesNo shower cabin. Shower in the bathtub. It's very high to get in. Could be a problem for elderly.
Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. Fairly good channel selection on TV.

CanadaEverything was great – hospitality and location were excellent; less than a 2-minute walk to the bridge. The room was clean, and every aspect of guest comfort was considered, with a nice shower boasting great pressure and a reliable blow dryer. There were even umbrellas available in the lobby for rainy days. Breakfast offered a satisfying variety and was presented nicely. The room temperature was perfect for April, especially with the chilly weather outside

SingaporeThe hotel's central location right next to the Charles Bridge made it a cinch to walk to any destination within the Old and Lesser Towns. The front desk staff, in particular Jaroslav, were very friendly and exceedingly helpful with directions and suggestions for food and shopping. Breakfast spread was impressive, the room was very well appointed (espresso machine!), and dinner at the Restaurant Pod Vezi was superb. We'd choose Pod Vezi in a heartbeat should we decide to visit Prague again.

United StatesBest location in the city next to the Charles Bridge. Breakfast in the morning was great. Staff was super friendly and went through a map at check in showing best places to see and location from the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and will stay there anytime I go to Prague.

AustraliaCharming hotel right in the action. The young staff were all so delightful and helpful. Our room, located in the second building just across cobblestone road/square, was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were sensational! I did not expect the quality nor the range of foods - 11/10. Even had little chocolates and gifts left in the room for us. I wished we could have stayed longer.

United KingdomBeds were a little bit hard but that’s being really picky
Location is fantastic as right on Charles Bridge which takes you into Old Town. The attached restaurant is nice, good variety for breakfast and evening meal options were also good. Cleaning people left different gifts every day after cleaning the room. The room was clean and had everything needed, no noise came in from outside that I could hear. Most of all the staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe hotel annexe was lovely. Very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was only a few steps to the Charles Bridge, but was nevertheless quiet and calm. Breakfast, served in the main hotel dining room, was delicious. Very varied, buffet-style with a large selection. It was even possible to cook your own waffles! The hotel has an attached restaurant which serves evening meals and there is also a creperie attached to the annexe. The staff were absolutely exceptional. They were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our stay a happy one. I would highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Prague.
