The staff at this hotel are incredible. They go out of their way to make sure that you have an enjoyable stay, make sure that you are given great recommendations and truly get to know you. This is by far the best service experience that I have had at a hotel in my travels.

Loved everything!

By a long, long measure, the most outstanding service we've experienced anywhere in the world. Included in the stay: A driver to take you anywhere in Prague and pick you up from the airport or train station. A sumptuous breakfast. Free beer and wine and non-alcoholic beverages all day long. The location is close to the Old Town main square and the river. The staff arranges anything you desire, like tours with a wonderful guide, concert tickets, and restaurant reservations. We especially enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel, a lovingly restored part of a 13th-century monastery. Hotel Agnes is as impressive as Prague itself. Such friendly, helpful, and welcoming people work here. They made our stay very special! We would never let friends stay anywhere else in Prague.

This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. From Paul picking us up at the train station, to Victoria helping us plan our stay, and Frank driving us to dinner, each encounter was friendly and pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Old Town and the breakfast buffet was great. Each time we passed through the beautifully appointed Lobby, we were offered a beverage, we felt like family. We hope our travels bring us back to the glorious City of Prague, rest assured we will make the Residence Agnes our home away from home!

Everything was nice. And the most unexpected thing was with breakfast, we come early morning, so our rooms were not ready. But hotel suggested to take breakfast! It was so pleasant, that was what we need after early 7am flight with baby, not to rush where to have, just sit and have it!

Absolutely no such thing

Where do I even start? Never had an experience staying in a hotel like this one.From the moment you walk in you are looked after and made to feel like you are the only guest there.Before we even checked in we were so mesmerised that we booked another night on the spot. The hotel itself is stunning. You will meet the owner himself who is such a chilled and lovely guy. He will ensure you are greeted like you are a celebrity.He will give you a good selection of his special drinks to try.:) Everyone you meet is lovely, knowledgeable and so so polite.They just don't seem to do enough for you. The rooms are beautiful and we were given a choice between 2! Breakfast was delicious, a good selection and great coffee too! Great location,walkable pretty much everywhere except for the castle,but they have a driver who will take you there free of charge! I would rate this hotel 11 out of 10 and would no doubt return if I ever had a chance. Thank you Residence Agnes for making us feel special!

The only thing I would suggest is that they shorten or streamline the check-in process. They were very helpful by sitting us down and offering us a free drink, pointing out key points on a city map, etc., but they were also soft-selling their tours and we were tired from a long drive and would have just liked to go to our room.

Good location and quiet. Great little coffee shop and a great cocktail bar essentially next door. Fantastic service—perhaps the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. They immediately found us parking right in front of the hotel, took our bags up to the room, offered us water every night when we came back, and went above and beyond. The breakfast was good and varied and what you would generally expect in Europe. The room was pretty tiny, but quiet, clean, and comfortable. The central atrium has a skylight and a cobblestone floor, and is a nice and atmospheric place to enjoy breakfast and plan one's day. The hotel has some character and interesting history—apparently, the building dates from around 1200 and at one point was the stable for the St Agnes nunnery. I would recommend this place and would totally stay here again for future trips to Prague—we really loved the city and hope to return soon.

Full length mirror in the bedroom would have been beneficial.

After reading so many reviews about how fabulous this hotel was, it was a no brainer for us! We absolutely loved our stay! The staff are all wonderful.. they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They really listen to you and adapt their recommendations to suit what you’re looking for. There are so many personal touches offered which enhance an already beautiful stay. The hotel is elegant and classy, the breakfast was lovely, bedrooms inviting and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend and will definitely return! Thank you!

I cannot think of a negative

Staff were so friendly and incredibly competent. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. As a well travelled 66 year old, this was the best hotel for service that we have ever stayed in . There were so many pleasant surprises and not one negative .

Frank, the owner, personally greeted us upon our arrival. We arrived by car and he actually gave us his personal parking spot immediately outside of the hotel entrance for the duration of our stay. His staff sat down with us and took the time to understand what we were hoping to see and experience in Prague. From there, they arranged tickets, tour guides, restaurant reservations, and itineraries for our entire stay. It was fantastic.

The service of this hotel is excellent. They provide free transportation to the castle across the river. Every one work in the hotel are super friendly. On the day we checked out, they prepared a bag for us to pack food from the breakfast buffet to take along, all these details show they think about the customers.
