Beautiful Hotel in a quiet area with lots of nature and forests around. The Restaurant and food is high qualitiy and delicious. Stuff very nice. We can recommend and will come back.

This hotel was opened just 6 months before our arrival and the staff, while being really nice and welcoming, were still getting used to this new place and not everything was set up. The check in process took place in the middle of a concert directly on the “stage” in front of the musicians, because the reception is located inside the restaurant. Multiple people mentioned this in reviews, it seriously needs to change. The other thing was the fee for using the spa. There was absolutely no mention of this whatsoever - on Booking.com, hotel website (although I wasn’t searching thoroughly) or from the hotel staff. Neither was this mentioned during check in (probably because of the concert and chaos during check in). It was probably just around 200 CZK per person per visit, so absolutely worth it and I would go there even if I had known this. Still I think it is fair to mention the price, maybe even a legal requirement.

Modern look, everything was brand new, clean and the design was very well thought out. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. However, the best part was the spa. It offered two saunas and lots of creative ways for cooling yourself down. The spa had a relaxing atmosphere and looked amazing. We ate at the restaurant which was unlike a typical hotel restaurant with more than 50 menu items. Prices were similar to those in an average restaurant in Prague and the food tasted great.

The breakfast was too simple, and it was not worth the price. However, I don't think, in the middle of the forest, you can find a place to have breakfast. The handwash and shampoo dispensers were totally empty. As I had soap and shampoo with me, I didn't ask for them. But I think they should check everything in the rooms beforehand.

Very clean, new, and modern hotel, located near the border of the Czech Republic and Germany, in a beautiful forest. The location was fabulous. The room was spacious, and there was a small kitchen in one corner with a coffeemaker and a few coffee capsuls. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant serves only breakfast and dinner and not lunch. The dinner menu was so simple with reasonable price and I liked it.

Wonderful hotel! new, comfortable, modern. Located in the forest. Silence and the birds sing! The staff is just magical! Restaurant food and breakfast are amazing! Unfortunately, we did not take swimsuits, there are also saunas there.

There was nothing not to like in this hotel.

The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. In fact the whole hotel was spotless. The location for us was great.

Feels like they are still a bit new to the job. No coffee or tea facilities in the room, but when asked they quickly came with a nice hot pot of tea.

The beds were really nice. Breakfast nice choice. Staff tries to please. Restaurant absolutely great.

Coming to a hotel restaurant as a hotel guest, three hours before closing time only to find out that “all the tables are reserved, and no, it’s not likely you’ll eat later, as people like to sit and drink till the end” is not the kind of experience I was hoping for. More so as the hotel restaurant is about the only place to eat around. Very unhelpful restaurant staff unfortunately. The prices would deserve an according attitude.

The hotel is very new and it shows. The design and atmo are great. Reception staff exceptionally nice and helpful. Location charmingly lost in the middle of wilderness.

- the surrounding area of the hotel is not as picturesque as the website would have you believe, with a road near by and some buildings around in need of repair, it is not in the middle of a forest as you might expect - unfortunately no gluten free bread or soya/oat milk for coffee was available - the bar Kotelna was not open due to shortages of staff - generally staff seemed young and finding their way a bit - check-in and check-out takes place in the middle of the dining area, staff sit there with computers all the time, it is unusual and not completely welcoming and I can imagine it will cause problems if the hotel ever gets busy - for 4 people staying in the apartment room, we did not have enough plates and cups - there is one hook in the bathroom for 4 people using towels

Breakfast was nice, room are gorgeous, so are the bathrooms. The wellness was very clean and modern and if it had a jacuzzi, it would have been perfect. The terrace for dinners and drinks is also very nice, with a pretty view. The meal from the Hvozd restaurant was great.

There was no lift inside the building and no possibility to enter without passing the stairs (possibly an issue for prams/ people with disabilities). The staff helped us to carry the pram over the stairs but I still find it as a big disadvantage as guests need to carry luggages too.
