How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Different breakfast menus to choose from. The fitness studio can be used. Parking for free in the parking garage, with lift direktly to reception. But what i liked the most: Always kind and always happy and funny employees, which are casting a smile in your face, everytime you see them. Could not be better.

Would be nice and useful to have fridge/minibar in the room.
Great Staff, friendly and always ready to help. The room was particularly clean and the bed very comfortable. Complementary breakfast is served freshly cooked every morning to each client. Free parking and easy access at anytime of the day and night. Espresso (Illy)at the reception is the best I could find in town.

We arrived not long after 9pm and although there was a pizza cafe/restaurant open, they didn't serve food, only beers so we had to walk elsewhere. This hotel would have been perfect had the pizza place been open a bit longer.
We were late checking in here but a quick phone call and the really helpful lady sorted everything for our arrival. I have to be honest, this was one of the most comfy rooms I have stayed in for a long time, nice spacious room and a huge bathroom and shower. The staff were super helpful, friendly and really chatty. Breakfast was excellent and I would absolutely stay here again.

nothing to mention
very friendly and helpful lady at the reception, clean and comfortable room - this time end of bowling alley over the hall, due to that fact noise until closing hours a bit disturbing, but nothing serious. I was just confused and searched a bit for noise source. Otherwise the hotel location in the centre and parking under the roof is huge advantage.

Breakfast can be a bit better.
Parking in garage, gym and welness. Next to the bus and train station. Shops and dinner places in vicinity.

- Out of the season the breakfast is served in front of the reception - it is not so comfy as in the restaurant (people walking around, from my perspective it provides cramped area) - from our perspective too hard mattresses (but this is very subjective) - not directly related to the accomodation: the quality of in the restaurant served meals this time again lower in comparison to our previous visit

There is nothing we can really complain about.
The hotel is modern and comfy. Air conditioning worked really well, we also used automatic blinds protecting us from the morning sun looking at us through the large windows in the room. We were served breakfast at the table, lovely coffee and scrambled eggs. The portion could be larger and unfortunately, we were not asked if we need any more drinks/rolls. The receptionist exceptionally waited for us a bit after her shift so we could check-in - thank you :)

Vsetin may not be the sexiest town on earth... but nice area around the town (but on business trip unfortunately no time to enjoy).
Hotel inside a shopping mall so if you like shopping, make sure you arrive before the shops close. in the mall there are various restaurants so plenty to choose from plus a gym.

Pricing was quoted in EUR and an "approximate" CZK equivalent was mentioned in the booking page. Odd, because this is the Czech Republic, but the hotel has the right to price as they seem fit. At checkout, we were charged a price that exceeded the quote by 6%, clearly beyond reasonable FX rate differences. Kind of airport kiosk exchange rates at midnight. It was not a big amount and I was on a rush to leave, so I didn't protest, but I left with the feel I got stiffed. The room was generally clean, but the cleaning team forgot to flush dirty water before finishing their work.
