Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Excellent place for short and long stay. Very kind owner. Everything for comfortable holiday. Big garden, amazing bbq, excellent breakfast. Elba is nearby. Public transport station in 3 min. Parking for private car. Massage shower.

The room was lovely, the area is beautiful, you can get to the centre by walking near the river, or take a bus which is very close to the house, the owner is a very kind and friendly person. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with fresh and delicious food. The room was extremely clean and spacious. If I am ever in the area I will definitely go back. thank you so much!

The host Martina is super nice and welcoming. The apartment is spacious and has a separate entrance with a small terrace. All rooms are tiled in blue, which might be a bit strange but I liked it. For breakfast, you can choose from a list with different options. Absolutely recommend that 🙂

United KingdomWhen we were checking out, I don't know if I had done something to annoy this person but a simple request for help to book a taxi was met with "I'm not a hotel". I was very confused as no problems had occured and had not been spoken to like this during the stay. That is fine, that is true, but would it really have hurt your day to take 2 minutes to help your non-Czech speaking guests out after they had tried and failed to order a taxi (TO GET TO THE TRAIN STATION FOR DEPARTURE))in Czech themselves? Why be in hospitality at all if something as small as calling a taxi is a problem for you? I tried ordering the cab in 3 different languages over the space of a very stressed out few hours - it would have taken our host 2 minutes, if that. We liked staying here and wanted to come again, would have recommended it to our friends too who we have been begging to go out to CZ with us. But this left such a bad taste in our mouths - sure people run accommodation to make money but to have it made clear your money is all they cared about is poor. Think that way sure but don't make it obvious to your guests. I will be in Děčín again and wish this place well but will be staying elsewhere in future. I don't pay good money to be treated like an imposition.
Beautiful house with pretty grounds, guest space and good proximity to Děčín by bus. Rooms were unique and comfortable with a lot of pretty period features. We appreciated the nice picnic table to sit on outside where I had nice mornings with a book and coffee. We were late arriving due to someone in our party having an emergency in Prague but the host stayed in good contact with us. Buses into Děčín are every 20/30 minutes or so. Dogs onsite - not as problem for us as dog people but worthy of note.

GermanyWe didn‘t realise how far it was from the centre, which would have meant a longish walk if we‘d stayed out any later and missed the last bus.
Very spacious and comfortable apartment. Communication with our hosts ran smoothly. There was a good selection of breakfasts available and the one we had was very tasty.
