How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

breakfast was a bit sad for me, small room with pretty much basic hotel food.. i wish for more things like waffles, more egg variants, more vegetables etc.

No central lounge. Our bedroom in a suite had no windows.
Beautiful old historic building in the central old square. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

An excellent location, marvellous view of historical part of the city fro the rooms windows and quiet atmosphere. Easy parking & wheelchair access. Fresh, high quality bakery products for breakfast.

No ‚infrared sauna‘, its a normal sauna. But you can set the temperature yourself.
classic hotel, very clean, nice modern bathroom, great view from my window, great breakfast, friendly staff, I didn't hear any tower bells in my room (due to double-glazed windows)

Staff was extremely friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional! All this situated in the perfect location by a beautiful gothic cathedral!

A bell ringing every 15 minutes makes it impossible to open the window and forces you to use the air conditioning.
Hotel in the very center with private parking. Comfortable beds, large room and bathroom. Very tasty and warm breakfast, good coffee. Very nice hosts.

A small hotel on the edge of the main town square with a small car park (requires reservation). Friendly service, tasty breakfasts, efficient air conditioning. Conveniently located, serving tasty breakfasts on a nice terrace. Two cards (keys) for the door.

The city elected to make the main plaza in the old town a huge parking lot. It doesn't take away from the stay (it's not busy) and is certainly not the fault of the hotel, but of the municipial government. A huge shame though!
The staff was incredibly nice, multilingual (I began talking in English and was replied to in my native german -- the lady at the desk remembered I was coming and remembered my native language!) and curteous. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was nice. The room was nice and quiet. There are more cafés, bars, restaurants, pubs etc. within a 5-minute walking distance than a city of this size has any right to have! If I ever return to Hradec Kralove, I know where I will stay already.

The hotel is located very conveniently, just neighboring the cathedral and the famous "white tower". The public parking is on the square just in front of the hotel. Everything was pleasant. Although quite small, the hotel has everything needed for a short stay!

Excellent location in the town center. We were welcomed by a friendly lady. We had a room with a view on the church wall which was nice and quiet. The breakfast was fabulous! And also there was a very friendly and helpful lady.

Such a lovely hotel in the city centre of Hradec Králové. Very nice, kind and welcome staff. The room was quite big with an amazing view. Definitely recommend this hotel.

On the day one we had some AC issues(, but that was sorted later. Otherwise nothing pinpoint at all
The location was outstanding in the heart of the old town square. With nice location, Spacious bathroom and very nice size room made our stay fantastic. The sumptuous breakfast spread with outstanding croissant and great coffee always started the day on a good note
