How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We have enjoyed the indoor pool a lot. As the most guests belonged to groups organized by travel agency - with their own program, we spent there every day at least one our without being disturbed.

The room was a bit small and the furniture outdated but overall satisfactory
The staff were really friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was fantastic and it is set in a beautiful place. There are also various facilities (games and play room for kids, gym, pool, etc.)

Some drunk idiots making noise outside the rooms at 11pm.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but we were in an older room, and I think the more renovated rooms would be nicer. It also would have been nice to have dinner with an a la carte menu with more vegetarian options.
The location is excellent, and for the value, it is a very good deal! While it is not a luxurious place, it was fun for a weekend, and it had everything you needed. It was also all clean and well cared for.

Very friendly staff and really tasty food. we spent 6 days in Svornost and food changed everyday.Kids was expecting dinner very evening. We will stay in Svornost again next ski trip.

Check-out time 10 AM is really not up to modern hotel standards! It feels like "eat your breakfast and get the ---- out of here!!"...
This is an old vacation and rehabilitation home for mining workers built during communist times, but with an interesting architecture and don't worry, there has been renovation! Location is excellent, not long from Harrachov centre but also very calm and quiet next to the woods. The room - simple and no-fuss but has everything you need, just like the rest of the place. I would not hesitate to stay there again and it is better value for money than the Orea hotel next door :)

The rooms look bit old, but they were very clean. The spa has its own front desk, but there was nobody ever there, so it is confusing to order treatments and then come for them, when you dont know where to go.
Really nice lobby and restaurant/bar area. Enjoyed the dinner and breakfast, very good selection and very reasonably priced drinks. Pool is nice and not too cold.

Our room on the second floor was getting technical noise from some ventilator. It was quite unpleasant especially at night. The noise was getting in through our shut window. One wouldnt expect that from a hotel in the forest.

Location to the lift. Price of dinner is a bit expensive for the offer of the buffet.
The pool is great for the kids, also the children playground.

8 ball pool was slightly tilted so all the balls were going towards one pocket. That was fun tho :)) There was no evening meal (only cocktails).
Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Everything including swimming pool was clean. Room was comfy, no AC in the room but it was cool during July.

Small shower cabin
The apartment was very cosy and comfortable, where you could find everything you need. Very beautiful view from the balkon and perfect location. It was very pleasant to get a present as an invitation - a bottle of wine. The breakfast was also very delicious. We'll return.
