I asked for a room with a shower for mobility reasons and I did receive this room BUT it was on the top floor with stairs (no lift) and the bed was very very low so difficult to get in and out.

The staff was very helpful especially with my early departure. I was unable to eat breakfast before I left because of the hour and they booked a taxi for me and packed a breakfast. The hotel is also very conscious of environmental impact and does not use single use toiletries in the room and provides water in glass bottles. The room was very large and although it faced the street was fairly quiet after 10. The only issue is described below regards accessibility

The curtains were too thin, you couldn't make the room completely dark. The breakfast was ok, but the restaurant was average, both food and service. The bed was too soft for my taste.

The hotel is pretty nice (especially liked the lovely aquarium at the reception). The bed was big enough to sleep with a toddler. Big parking space right next to the hotel.

Bed was a bit creaky

The room was clean and big enough for 3 persons. The bed could have been a little bit more comfortable. Good breakfast in the restaurant, The downtown is close to the hotel. It has private parking. Overall it's good value for the money

Everything was fine. It would be good to have the portable Tea Hot Water Heater in the room. I hope, that the parking place from the hotel is watched by the camera.

Room was large but bathroom had no shower curtain nor any kind of a barrier so naturally everything was super wet, humming noise coming from the back yard all night long.

The lady at the reception at our arrival (Daniella) was amazing, helpful, very friendly and dealt with everything with a smile.

Restaurant: gentleman serving in the restaurant was not at all pleasant. He did not make us feel welcome at all. We therefore chose not to eat at the hotel except breakfast time. Room: When staff entered our room in the morning (whilst we were still in bed on Tuesday morning), they did not knock prior to entering, they just opened the door and closed it when they saw us still in bed. Made my children feel very uncomfortable. Lock on our room (103) did not work. Bottled water in the room available only on arrival, not part of the daily tidy up, that was disappointing.

Restaurant: Breakfast was really good - good choice of food, juice and nice coffee. Staff: Blond lady on Tuesday morning was very nice, she was serving/clearing out at the restaurant. Reception staff was very polite and friendly, especially the lady on our late Monday night arrival (29th May).

There wasn't really anything to dislike. However, you may want to specify a room on the first or second floors if you have mobility issues. There is a lift, but it only goes to the second floor. I had a room on the third floor and it was explained to me that the third floor can only be reached by stairs.

The breakfast was standard continental style and well prepared. The hotel was easy to find, I walked there from the train station in about half an hour. The location is right next to the centre of the city. The room I had (302) was very spacious and clean. All desk staff I delt with spoke very good English.

A minor point: the bathroom was very small. I would have appreciated an electrical outlet beside the bed, but the one by the desk was easily accessible.

I was attending a meeting at the University and Zlata Stika was very convenient for a walk to the meeting. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had dinner one evening in the restaurant and it was very good.

Curtains in the shower would have been nice to have. Everywhere got wet while taking a shower. The staff was nice but the receptionist did not smile once at the check-in.
