Veryyyy bad cleaning. Initially the person gave room which was total mess, uncleaned. On asking he made us wait longer and then finally gave upgrade to 6 sharing room which was clean from top but had a lot of dust like near window, bed, etc

Upkeep of the lift/stairway and bedside charging ports could be better. There were some noisy guests, which the staff should ideally manage. Not the best area in terms of walkability and feel despite being relatively near the Hauptbahnhof (not the fault of the property).

Decent room for the price, helpful staff and fairly functional facilities. Nice common area on the ground floor with a chill vibe. I'd recommend this for a short stay while visiting the city on a budget.

USB ports on 2 of the 6 beds broken. Very hard to charge my phone. No sockets in the room (only one very high up on the wall where my cable wouldn't reach). The only reachable sockets were in the bathroom and in the toilet - so I had to put my phone there at night. This felt unsafe and I couldn't use an alarm to wake up. This would be so easy to fix - pity! 6 beds but only 4 wardrobe spaces - would be good to have 2 more. No lockers in room - $4 per day lockers downstairs. There was a flood on my floor from a bathroom somewhere upstairs, and the corridor carpet was drenched & smelly

I had mostly a great stay & felt safe as single female traveller. Lots of positives: No-hassle check in at 3am as there is always someone at the desk. Lovely staff! Clean bedsheets and nice soft large towel. Comfy pillow. Big window in room. Separate toilet and bathroom in our 6-person room. No-hassle going in and out. felt safe as a single female traveller - lots of random strangers including in my 6-person-room but all guests were courteous I had no hassle Cool book collection in the lobby! very affordable which is rare for Hamburg!

The room was clean but can be cleaned more better, I hate that I had to collect bedsheets and then do put those sheets on the comforter and the bed, we go to hotels to find well settled beds and relax so I don’t like that.

Breakfast was very good, some staff were good the lady at the restaurant was very good person, the room was comfortable and cool, no noice and disturbance.

The reception made me wait for 3 hours to get my room. It was my first time in Hamburg & i find it very unpleasant if the receptionist says that "its not my fault". When you pay for a service at least a "sorry" for the delay caused is more nice to hear than what I heard.

Cheap room for a good quality & clean bed. All accessories were working & in good condition. The room was cleaned everyday.

The room was really hot, and especially the bathrooms, 0 ventilation in there with the heater to dry the clothes and unbearable. And if you open the window you hear the highway. The bathroom was ok clean, but a lot of mold, probably because it got so bad ventilation.

It's a nice place with a good location and very cheap, around 35 euros for a hostel bed at the last minute. The bed was pretty comfortable.

Check-In was super slow, room was smelly, 24/7 bar was not operating for a longer time when I was there and when I did get to order there, they didn't have most of the food on the menu, vending machines were not working either, the charger for phones on my bed wasn't working either, so I had to use a plug-in in the room to charge my phone during the night while sleeping on a second story bed, which means I couldn't set an alarm without waking everyone else up and then I'd have to jump from the second story bed to stop it half-awake, which stressed me out and I couldn't get much sleep the first night because of this. The second night I didn't set an alarm at all and was just hoping I would wake up on time and then I could get good sleep finally. Breakfast is not included, towels are actually included even though it says otherwise in their description 🤷🏼‍♀️

Rooms could’ve been cleaned better. I was staying in 6 people dorm, I’ve seen people were cleaning rooms everyday but somehow our room was dirty all the time.

I like that you can find soups and shampoos and toilet papers all the time. They also supply towels and each bathroom has hair dryer. Having bathroom in the dorm room(not in the floor) was the huge advantage. Also hostel has a cool common area. You can work there with laptop if u need. The location is not the best neighborhood but near the Hauptbahnhof(10mins walking) so easy to go anywhere.

The usb outlets in the bunk bed did not work, not just for me but for another guest. No light switch in the bunk bed. Would be nice to have curtains on the bunk beds. The beds were too far away from the wall outlets to charge devices at night while keeping valuables close. It was very hot and there were no fans.

The common areas are clean, modern, comfortable sofa seating and places to relax with outlets for charging. Staff are bilingual in German and English and are polite and helpful. You can keep luggage in their locked luggage room for free. Bed was comfortable. Shower was ensuite so you didn't need to go down a corridor.

Beds squeak a lot, and it is especially annoying when the person next to you is moving during the night. Quite noisy because of the cars outside. There are extremely few outlets in the room, like 2-3 outlets in a room for 8. The mobile check-in and the fast check-in also didn't work.

Very close to the train station and it is quite cheap for this location. I liked that there is 24 h check in time. Good that there is bathroom in the rooms.

I was told that our room had been broken into just before I moved in, and the locker was broken. Hamburg Hbf is a horrible, horrible neighborhood and getting to the hostel is always a stressful experience. The common areas (the entrance, etc) are dirty and sometimes there's a smell permeating the entire building. The room was a bit smaller than what is shown in the pictures.

The bathroom in our room was kept absolutely pristine. The workers were nice and kind.

Most of the staff were either rude or not bothered to utter more than 2 words at once. The bunk beds URGENTLY need a better ladder to climb up the top bunk, you risk breaking your legs everytime you try to scale it.

You get what you pay for, a comfortable, clean place to spend the night and to take a shower. Breakfast is really good aswell.

So far away to supermarkets and its so eysy to get lost the Street are extreme strange was walking in the Street for over 4 hours and looking for the numbers but no hotell so I get forced to take a taxi even then I was on the street but on the other side i cant understand why its no logic in the numbers in the street they say 200 meters from centralstation but from where it was a nightmere the Amsicksrasse beginns and ends on the other side to suddenly appear again its easier to navigate star treck than to find right a and o hotell.

The price and the location was ok.

It was not the room we booked, our room was triple room with three beds (we saw in the booking photos) because we were three people but when we arrived we found two beds and a bunk bed and only two towels and two bed clothes (remember, we were 3). We went to ask at reception if there was any issue because that was not the room from the booking photo and that we were three people, and we just got stuff for two and the receptionist was very rude saying that my friend had to make the bed herself. Also the bathroom that was in the hostel to share with everyone (not the one in our room) was broke...

Very very loudly guests and low sound insulaton. Room doors was very fast and loudy closing. 02:00 A.M. and always somevone runing and shout in the corridors.

The staff was friendly, but relatively incompetent. The check in was possible only in the late afternoon. I specifically asked for accessible lockers during that time, and they didn‘t tell me they had them. I had to find out for myself where to get sheets and towels (homepage said it would cost me, but it was free). My access card stopped working several hours before my checkout and I had to get it re-activated at 3 am.

So far so good, except that the lights in the beds didn‘t work and the power outlets weren’t as accessible as the booking.com entry suggests.

CRAZY LOUD. Everything good, bedsheets, bathroom, nice rooms. BUT NOISE. Tons of middle east people, and young germans going crazy in the middle of night, and not just in the rooms, but in the hallway. Could not sleep until 3 in the night. Crazy noise, screams, laughter, bangs. The personnel must regularly check upstairs and hallways, not just sit their asses on the groundfloor.
