The listing said there was a washer and dryer but it was wrong. However the owner's wife stopped by and offered to wash some clothes for us so it wasn't a bad thing.

We arrived and while I called the phone numbers numerous times I could't contact anyone. After waiting in from for quite a while the owner's delightful daughter walked by and saw us sitting there. She got us in, got us keys, and showed us our room. It was a nice room and they let us store our bicycles on the back porch. The beds were comfortable and it was a good sized room. It was calling for rain so we extended our stay from 2 days to 3. We met the owner, his wife, and daughter. All 3 were very nice people.

Kitchen cutlery was a bit dirty and not a great selection of crockery, the pan especially was no good. Shower was not on same floor as room. 20min S Bahn ride from centre of Bonn

Fairly spacious room and large bed. Fridge and table/ chairs in room were good. Shared kitchen had oven, microwave and stove. Directly next to S Bahn station.

Please notice, that you don't have your own bathroom, you have to share it with the others.

Very friendly and polite staff, you feel very welcome. They do their best to make you feel comfortable. There's a kitchen and you can cook, if you want. There was also a breakfast included. It's not far from a tram station and it's around 5 min on foot to the supermarket and borough center with shops and restaurants

We had to wait about 15min for the host to show up. This despite calling 30min before we arrived, and then calling again when we arrived. Normally not an issue, but at 22:30 after driving 6 hours you don't want to be kept waiting.

The walls were very thin between the rooms (you can hear the TV quite loudly from the other room and people talking). The pillow was way to thick (I don't know how anyone can sleep on it!) - I had to create a make-shift pillow from my clothes. In the toilet on the top floor there were neither soap nor paper towels. I think this is not too much to ask for, for the money you pay.

The hosts were very friendly and they even gave me a spacious double room under the roof (I had booked a single room), because there was a group of people who might be a little louder on the floor where I was supposed to be. It was clean and there was even a kettle in the room and a kitchen downstairs. I also liked that thre room had a little desk, a fridge, a wardrobe and a towel rack.

Horrible living conditions! Nobody was present upon arrival, had to wait on the street for almost an hour. The apartment is old and run-down, full of dirt and malfunctions. The kitchen was so filthy that we had to buy utensils. Windows don't close, door lock is broken. TVs don't work, and there are wires lying around in the rooms. Additionally, there was a terrible smell in the rooms, possibly due to moth repellents. Not recommended!

It's a little overpriced considering Bonn is not a big city.

The owner contacted me to personally await me at the hostel and hand me the keys. The place has a well equipped kitchen and enough bathrooms/showers in the different floors.

The ignorant loud Russian hotel guests. During the day they were talking very loudly in their irritating Russian. While at night and in the early morning they were slamming the door all the time.

The room with all the comfortable furniture like the couche or the bed. Also the eye for the detail on the little thing like the bottom door insulation that keep the annoying light out from the hallway or the inclusive complentary offering of herbal tea in the room.

Noise from trains and dogs and neighbors. It's not their fault but it sometimes wake you up at night.

The host is very accommodating. They provide free breakfast. The room is very spacious compared to other places in NRW. Good value for money. The internet is good. There are many facilities around. Payment is cash. The neighborhood is not busy like downtown. And if you are from the Middle East/Asia, the toilets here have bidets (shattafa) :D which is rare in Germany.

There was no soundproofing so you could hear other guests clearly.

The whole place was rather tired, with quite a few very old and broken furnishings. One had to use the shared bathrooms, which were often occupied just when you wanted them. The shared kitchen was very basic, and the toaster didn't work properly. Opposite the house was a railway track, which was often very loud despite the noise barrier.

For my purposes, the location and the price were good. I had a fridge and a kettle in my room. Always a free car park in front of the house. I hardly ever met staff, but when I did, they were very friendly and helpful. It's a good place for someone with a small budget, who doesn't mind the shortcomings.
