The hotel is very centrally located, within a nice park and with excellent swimming pool and spa, good food and a modern touch in a historic building. Very well for a visit to Aachen and surroundings.

There wasn’t a kettle in the room. I had a baby so this was uncomfortable but it was provided after asking.

The location, bed and breakfast was really nice. The staff were really helpful. They helped us in locating good restaurants in town and with stores closed, they provided us with some things we needed

The old carpets in the corridor have a bad smell. There were no chance to eat at 1 p.m. in the hotel.

The pillows were too soft, and the bed felt somewhat slippery, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. I barely slept. Additionally, the air conditioning turned on at 5:00 in the morning by itself, even though we had turned everything off before going to bed.

There is only one EV charger (two outputs) and it is public for everyone to use. Chances of it being available are very low.

We made reservation for 2 persons, but when we arrived towels, slippers were only for 1 person, same for the bathrobe. So, we had to call the reception and wait for it. Not a problem, but at the end bathrobe was small for my partner while he is an average man. Also, there was no space at the underwound parking of the hotel and it was a problem to grab a spot at the outdoor parking. Understandable, because it was Carnival in the city, but still spoils impression.

It was a one-night stay, but pretty pleasant. Nice cozy room in blue color scheme, bathroom with bath. Breakfast was also nice. Pretty close to the city center.

Very restricted evening menu on the Friday evening Our room was cleared and cleaned before we checked out at 1140am, ie 20 minutes before Latest cgeck-out.

Some appliances look somewhat old, there was a phone and a radio in the room. The TV was very big but not useful for us, since there were only German channels; no Netflix or other smart-tv services accessible, and the tv set did not accept hdmi from our Apple computers. There was a basic coffee maker but no tea. Breakfast is absolutely perfect, only one little missing detail: we found none of those famous, delicious german slice cakes :)) Parking seems private to the hotel, but you have to pay 16€ per night, that's something that could easily be included in the price.

Beautiful hotel, nicely old-fashioned but with the modern comfort. The room was spacious and comfortable, warm and essential, a fantastic bed. Bathroom smaller and a little "old" but clean and proper. The structure offers vast spaces to relax and take your time with privacy. The pool and sauna/steam bath are excellent, perfectly organised and functional. We were lucky that in mid-week very little people or none were using the facilities, so it was all for us. The breakfast is top of the line, all fresh and ready made. The hotel is nested in a nice park with great old trees, the Carolus Thermae are comfortably at a short walk distance.

The spa has too little sunbeds for such a big hotel and the pool temperature is not as warm as I’d prefer
