There were two receptionist. One was pleasant, another was not very happy to be there. Rooms could be cleaner.

There was a glitch with our door where we had to manually stop the lock from sticking out, so we could lock it (we forgot to report this and it was a minor inconvenience).

This is a great hotel for a city break stay in Berlin. It’s very well connected to everything and is easily accessible from the airport (just take the DB line from Flughafen BER → Gesundbrunnen Bhf), only takes about 30 mins. Gesundbrunnen station is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel which gives you lots of options to get to the sights and other areas of the city. The hotel itself is very modern and clean, the decor was lovely and the room was very spacious. There is a full sized hair dryer, an iron/ironing board and a coffee machine. The bathroom is amazing, full sized walk in shower and the shampoo/conditioner was actually usable! The bed was comfy and the aircon was easy to use. The staff were friendly and helped us with our check in when we arrived. We were also upgraded to a larger room which was fantastic.

We were booked into the wrong room. We had booked a Deluxe King Room, but was placed in a twin room. I went to reception and highlighted this and I was told that they don’t have that room available and I had to “come earlier”. I booked more than a month in advance and the room was available at the time. I feel give. The money paid that I am not happy with this at all. We were given free breakfast, but essentially I feel it is bad service to not have the room available that someone had booked and paid for. Some of the soap containers in the shower were empty. There were areas around the room that needed dusting, for example, the clothes iron was very dusty.

The shower gel bottle was empty. Shampoo and conditioner bottles were nearly empty. Body lotion bottle looked half used and not replaced after previous room users. Room temperature was oddly hot for the month of March. The location of the hotel is a bit far, ie not within walking distance, from main tourist spots.

The location was quiet. Room was surprisingly spaceous and quiet. Breakfast was good and provided lots of options. Train options for moving around the city are good.

Staff weren't always attentive. Cooling function in the room was not operative, perhaps due to spring season?

At breakfast they had enought choices. Fairly lately renovated hotel , price/quality ratio was fairly good and close connection to U- and S-bahns. Fairly noiseless environment and shopping center was closeby.

No milk for hot drinks in room . Bathroom products empty or near empty. Slow at reception . No English speaking tv channels . Not the most welcoming reception staff on arrival . Duvet felt thin and not very warm.

Nice and beautiful hotel just what you would expect from a Marriot line of great places. Location next to the train and metro stations, people always look for places close to the action, with the stations so close you really don't have to be worried about being a little bit far from the center. Located in an area of Arabic influence which by the way, eat on those small joints and you will love the food, one of the best meals that I had during the 28-day trip thru Frankfurt - Prague - Berlin - Amsterdam - Paris - Luxembourg - Barcelona.

Location wasn't perfect but did the job. Breakfast was quite expensive (€22) so we opted out.

We booked a twin room and we were positively surprised by the size of the room! Everything was clean and beautifully presented. We also used the gym which was compact yet had all the necessary equipment. Great hotel! Location was a bit far from central but the train/metro station was very close and had great connections everywhere (airport, Potsdam, central locations etc.). Highly recommend if you don't mind being away from the central locations!

The cleaning could be better. We asked twice to get some soap added. We asked replacement of towels (did so by leaving in the floor) only to get some of them replaced and others disappeared.

The location was good. The rooms were good quality. The staff was super helpful. Especially Ahmad was amazing and helpful when we arived. Some of the best customor service I have recived at a hotel ever. He really made our stay even better.
