How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is in a strategic location, surrounded by many cafes, grocery stores like Lidl and Rewe. The last one, but only much bigger is in the Gesundbrunner Center, which is located near the hotel. There are here the rail, bus stations and metro too. The room was clean, quite big and comfortable. Nice personal. The breakfasts were the same every day, but you won't be hungry,

The hotel is not really in Mitte. It is in Wedding (that is a part of Mitte).
Room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It is really close to the rail station so going on the SBahn and UBahn is really easy.

Room wasn’t the cleanest and there were few misses.

Towels were small and skimpy which feels mean especially for the so-called 'deluxe king' room price. Complimentary coffee and tea not always replaced and then random selections. Again this feels a bit mean considering the 'deluxe' soubriquet.
The staff were very kind and friendly. This was the main point of excellence. The public areas and rooms are modern, very clean, spacious and attractive. A good bar terrace.

The room service knock at the door in the late afternoon (more or less 5 PM), in my opinion, would be better in the late morning when is more likely that rooms are empty.
Smart and well organized hotel; the hotel is close to the Gesundbrunnen railstation with a direct connection to the Berlin Airport and the city center (by the underground). There are also a big mall wiat a lot of shops and a big public park nearby. The room is large, clean and confortable. The restaurant service has a small menù but that can fit all the needings. That being said, a good choice for a Berlin break.

I knew about the location of the hotel when I booked it so I wasn't surprised, and it suited me well for the purpose of this visit but it is not well located at all re: tourist spots in Berlin. The area surrounding the hotel can be uncomfortable for those not familiar with the area. This is just something to be aware of, not really something that can be changed by the hotel.
The hotel is very impressive inside and clean, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good, offering variety of options, all fresh and tasty. The room was comfortable and clear, with used amenities replenished every day (in my case tea and shampoo/soap).

Shouldn’t have been offered a wrong room.
At arrival we were sent to a room with a separate beds, which we specifically did not choose. After some reluctance from the reception, we were offered a room with a king size bed. Otherwise the hotel is great and we got it on a really cheap offer.

They charge the additional 25 EUR per night "deposit" and then were not able to return, we had to argue to do it, ad they did not want. They "blocked" money on my card as "pre-authorisation" but really they were charged. Then they tried to charge us again at the check out! And we had to wait for some time to make it sorted out. What we got was an invoice and the promises that they return my money in 2-3 days. This looks like a fraud! The room was missing a chair and a table, and they gave us 1 glass for 2 people. And we got 2 single beds instead of 1 king bed. The neighbourhood is shabby and dirty.

The only thing is the advertisement. I didn't get the room I was shown on the website when booking, it was slightly smaller and didn't have a desk, which would have been useful for work.
I really enjoyed my stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities were beautiful and clean, the room was also very nice. Plus (very big plus for me), the wifi was fast and reliable (which was important for me because of work). Plus, it was only a two minutes walk away from the Train Station!

Breakfast was good, except for the coffee - I get frustrated when the bar staff have a proper espresso machine but insist on guests using the free automatic machines.
