Bad smell in the bathroom if you leave the door closed (even though it was cleaned). No extra pillows or blankets

Walking distance to everything. Fast check-in and check-out. The room was comfortable and clean. No AC, but the fan worked perfectly. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly.

The room had a weird urine smell that we couldn't track, but did not appear dirty. We had no time to view the area around the hotel as we were only there for a emergency one-night stay, so the prize was high for that.

The staff was very helpful including with late check in and ordering taxi. The room had a good size and fulfilled all expectations for a one night stay. The breakfast was ready early, and had a good amount of options.

Didn’t like the price that was charged for two of the three nights.

The stay was nice but we were disappointed with the price of two of the three nights. Guess we didn’t read the booking.com that the rates went up on the weekend. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with all our needs.

My only (very minor) gripe was that the description of the rooms on booking.com mentioned an electric kettle in the room, which was incorrect. However, the hotel's own website does not promise tea or coffee-making facilities, so the booking.com description should be updated.

The room was very clean and comfy and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for me - about 10-15 minutes' walk from the station and very close to the entrance to the castle gardens. I was going to a rock concert in the castle gardens, and was surprised and delighted to find a rocker rubber duck in my room as a welcome's present :-)

Baby cot was half broken, so bed was placed. We exchanged the bed for the half broken cot, so all was saved well. Our 2-year old really cannot sleep in an adult bed. An investment for a new baby cot is advised.

access to the parking lot was through the street, you had to go around the whole hotel - very inconvenient. They had a door that had access to the parking lot, but it was only used for staff. I do not understand why

temp during our stay between 29 - 34 dgrs and with no airco, but only a moveable electric air cooler, room extremely warm. Being in the full sun also did not help. Then again, we want to go back for further visit to this area, but will do that in early fall when temp at more “ normal “ levels

staff are some of the nicest people you would like to meet. Easy with a smile and eager to help in all. Truly enjoyed the interaction. Breakfast Lao tops.

Breakfast is rich and various. The location is good with the entrance to the castle garden side entrance just across the street.

The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but still comfortable. Same with the pillows, but it is alwas difficult to find the same comfort level as ones own bed. A second coffee machine wouldn't go amiss either, since during peak hours it is a bit of a wait, but that is likely asking too much, and the coffee machine is excellent, so I imagine a second wouldn't make sense financially.

Breakfast was great as always and the coffee was exceptional. The room was clean and the bar area was great for having a drink and a conversation at the end of the evening. Overall I am certain we will return.

They have charged me 15 Euro extra for only 30 minutes overstay. I have stayed only for few hours, they could be not that strict. Otherwise ok.
