Comfort room. It wasn't comfort room: was not spacious room with 2 armchairs (only 1 armchair), was not a free bottle of mineral water. there was no glass for water, nothing for making tea and coffee (kettle, cups, sugar, tea, coffee, kettles and others). There was no shoe spade, no shoe brush, no information booklet about hotel services. There was no minibar either, just an empty fridge. The hotel is generally very old and good, but the room categories do not meet the standard requirements, which do not meet the expectations of the guests. In order not to create an impression of low-quality cleaning in the hotel, the management should immediately replace the very old and worn floor coverings.

Shower could have been better. No thermostatic mixer so the water temperature varied if someone else turned on the tap at the same time.

Breakfast was reasonably priced but nothing too special. A good solid one nevertheless. Excellent location with good public transportation connection to everywhere. Room was a lot bigger than hotel rooms usually are. Nice old time charm atmosphere.

The street next to the hotel is too noisy. The sound insulation is quite good, but keeping the windows open would make it impossible to sleep there. I visited during a busy period for Berlin so the price per night for the room was definitely not the best value.

The location is great, next to multiple bus, tram and metro lines, so the centre is reachable in 20 minutes (great for Berlin standards). The rooms were nice and clean, although the carpet on the floor was not the most hygienic option. Overall, I would stay there again.

There was no air conditioner and it was so hot that we couldn't sleep at night, although we had an open window. Wi-fi wasn't working well.

The room was very clean and furnished comfortably for a short staying. The staff was nice and polite. Bed were crazy soft!

The Wifi was very spotty. Not really suitable for video calls. It was too loud to leave the windows open during the night.

The water pressure in the shower was pretty much non existent. They really should fix that. Beds weren’t super comfortable, hard mattresses and the king size bed was basically 2 beds pushed together and the mattresses had a big gap between them so not very nice for a couple. Lots (!) of steps before you reach the elevator.

Nice location, close to different kind of public transportation. Our room was facing the small courtyard, away from the busy street so we really liked that. Sounds of traffic weren’t as loud. Nice staff. Possibility of storing luggage after you check out free of charge.

There was a strange smell in the whole hotel, like old and wet. The room had no air conditioning so in hot days it may be quite warm inside. Since they gave us a room street level we were afraid of having the windows open, even if they opened to a back yard. The person replying messages on Booking.com was kind of rude when I asked for a room where we didn't have to climb a lot of stairs because one of use have knee issues. "If they have knee issues it doesn't matter if it is 40 or 100 steps" 😳 That's no way to reply a customer. And, even so, they gave us a room where we had to go stairs up and down.

The room was big enough for two people, big bathroom, comfortable bed, just two blocks from the train station.

I was a bit surprised that the room had no Air conditioning but in the end I wasn’t too warm. The room felt also old and a bit damaged in some ways .

The Hotel is in a super touristic location , right in front of the Ubahn and close to the Sbahn . It was convenient in that way. Also the breakfast was superb

On my first day my room was quite dark as the light nearest the bed was not working. After reporting this to reception, they fixed it but not until the next day. This perhaps would have been less of an issue had this been a budget hotel, but I felt it to be not good enough for a (small) room that they charge £120 a night for! Also on my first morning the Bread Rolls on the Breakfast buffet were not quite fresh enough. Again this lack of attention to detail irritated in the context of the above specified quite expensive prices being charged

It looks like an expensive and huge hotel which due to lack of investment became cheaper and it has a bit depressing and weird feeling. They have to wings so it's easy to lose your way. Additionally the lift was out of order in one wing and it made the whole thing even more difficult. Regarding stuff, the reception was ok if not always accessible but the cleaning stuff behaved strangely. First time ever cleaning lady was yelling at me at the corridor of the hotel when I lost my way. I don’t even know what about because I don't know German.

Fantastic location near Zoo Station. The breakfasts are OK too.

Location said, unfortunately if your on street side, if your windows are open you hear every car, bus, street fight, sirens. I was there when it was unbearably hot and the simple fan in room was not enough to cool. The beds were horrible, horrible. Bathrooms were awesome but be careful because it’s very slippery, no handles, half shower door is pointless. Close to the trains, underground, countless restaurants.

Location, thou I didn’t buy breakfast I had coffee and it looked lovely.
