How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

The cleanliness can be improved. When we arrived there is a strand of hair in the pillow which does not make me feel comfortable. Also, you have to go to the reception to ask for what you need which is not very ideal (like extra coffee).
The room given to us was very big or spacious. The location is very good, very near the train and tram/metro. The convenience of the place is also very good.

The windows in my teen kids’ room were locked and we couldn’t pop them ajar for some fresh air inside. I asked at the reception twice to unlock them, but they didn’t follow up. There was no room cleaning during our stay (2 nights). Located right next to the railway tracks, but the windows have fairly good noise isolation, so it wasn’t an issue for us.
Very spacious, comfortable room and bathroom, nice touch with the lights, nice lounge. Good location in terms of distance to the city center. Suitable for a short family city trip.

I heard the people of the other room crystal clear. Be careful with the noises you make meanwhile you do the boogie-boogie, because your neighbours will hear! Hahaha

Don't expect anything fancy. It is a very basic hotel with not much amenities. Everything is By Request at the reception including housekeeping and supplies. It is also located in an old building & doesn't have that "Hotel-like feel". Looks more of an old office building converted into a hotel. But as I said, the Location, Room and Staff make up for it & I would still recommend this hotel.
1. Central Location. Just right outside Koln Hansaring Station, which is one stop away from Koln Central Station. Everything is near. Major attractions, Restaurants, Shopping Area, etc. 2. Big & Spacious room. This was my first experience having such a huge hotel room in Europe in this budget category. 3. I requested a Quiet Room but I was given a corner room at the 2nd floor very close to the streets & train. Surprisingly, the sound proofing is good and I didn't hear anything outside. 4. Staff is friendly and helpful beyond expectation.

Breakfast not sufficient in terms of content vs price. Orange juice made of quite sour concentrate, scrambled eggs too stiff, no blue cheese or camembert available. Final price higher for more than 20% compared to the original offered one.
Breakfast sufficient in terms of content, even tasteful hummus available. Spacious and clean rooms. Tidy bathroom. Very close to the city center. Affordable parking available. Friendly assistants.

If we check in two hours earlier we pay 15 euros, it's a bit of a hefty charge for checking in two hours earlier.

Very few people spoke English. Breakfast was not very good as hot food wasn’t super fresh and bacon was slightly overdone. There was no decaf available.
Room was very spacious and clean. Location was perfect as just next to the train station. Nice restaurantes nearby.

The wifi could be better. The bandwidth was ok, but the connection method with signing in every day had some problems on laptop. On the phone was ok.
The thing I liked about the room is that it was spacious. With plenty of space to work and a special couch for my night reading. The view was fantastic. Very clean and in order.
