How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hotel building is really huge and located a bit far from usual living area, so you need 20-30 minutes walk to nearest pub, bank or Apotheke. But in 15 min by foot you will find big supermarket Aldi and few other convenient shops.
This is pretty nice opportunity to stay in Düselldorf with small budget, if you compare with almost everything you can find at Airbnb. Huge advantage is very good matress, new equipment, comfortable kitchen and nice design. You can always take a beer or coffee (wait, it should be beer only in Germany, no coffee please!) in the lounge near to reception.

Would like more coffee in the room but for what it cost to stay there it's fine. Also if there could be just a tiny bit of salt in the salt container would be great.
The price is very good. Also like having a kitchen.

It was a bit far from nearest shop
Comfy bed in clean room, good shower. I didn’t use the kitchen but only coffee machine. It was even 4 coffee pods ready for guest arrival !

The staff was okay but not great. The location is pretty bad if you don’t have a car or if you like to walk. If you wanna check-in before 15:00, they’ll charge you 15 Euro even if they have plenty of rooms ready to be used, that’s just greed. The fridge makes annoying noises so I had to turn it off.
Well designed interior, enjoyable atmosphere in the hotel room, pretty comfortable bed and working space. Clean and well equipped with everything you need, including a capsule coffee maker, a microwave, a fridge and more. Overall good value for what you pay.

The staff became unfriendly when they found out we don't speak German. Technicians (note: not housekeeping people) opened our room twice without knocking. That sucks that there was no privacy. The wifi connection was poor.
The room was quite clean and big enough. There was almost everything to cook your own meal.

Poor WiFi network in the room
Fantastic and neat accommodation with friendly staff. Was initially given the wrong room but quickly changed it to the appropriate one when I brought it to the attention of desk officer

The hotel is great if you travel by car but unfortunately not best location if you rely on public transport. It’s not the hotels fault but it’s something to consider.
The hotel itself is great, I love the rooms, it was very clean, all the things I needed were there and staff was very friendly.

Its almost 900m far away from nearest public transport Bus stop, the road can be quite lonely to walk even though its quite safe. But Uber and Bolt were spot on the location
Great Hotel which is Brand New and 24/7 Bar and staff at the reception who are super friendly . Very close to the Airport and the Messe fair grounds. and 10 mins by taxi from Koniegsalle shopping street

Difficult location to/from unless you are using taxis. Bedding and pillows were not best quality for comfort, the window in my room did not open for fresh air.
Good value, modern, clean apartments with good facilities for an enjoyable stay. The apartment living is more agreeable than the usual hotel room experience.

The bathroom was a wet room and completely flooded when the shower was used, it was inches deep in water all day and therefore unusable. Complained twice to reception staff and emailed after stay but received no answer. Very disappointed

Lovely small apartment, perfect for one or even 2 people . Lovely Decoration and Kitchen has all utensils needed if you want to cook. You Nespresso coffe for free which was relly welcome.

Maintenance Door is not looking from inside the room Maintenance The safe is not working bathroom issues not availability in week end and I have to wait And after two days only halfe work done specially y in bathroom Cleaning free every week only Far from any shop Taxi is limited , you have to call and wait One reception for two hotels with limited staff Waiting time is too long every morning if you need to talke to any staff member No phone to connect with the recitation from the room ,,,
