We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

The daily breakfast was delicious and a wonderful start to our days. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable, with a nice bathroom, desk area, lounge area and comfortable sleeping. The historic aspect was charming and unique - it felt like a very special place. We enjoyed a fantastic gourmet evening dinner in the upscale Adler Restaurant - even if you don't stay in the hotel, go to the restaurant! It was a complete treat!

You can unload your car right in front of the hotel and then park in the nearby public carpark, so it’s suitable for people who travel by car. Managers/owners very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend to book the restaurant, the food is fantastic.

We cannot say enough amazing things about the Adler Schiltach as well as the owners Alex & Christine. They are so kind and accommodating and really made us feel welcome. Alex helped us get a taxi and book a car when he found out we had issues with our airport car rental, he even offered to drive us to the car rental himself! The breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner one of our nights there and we couldn’t be more glad that we did. Alex is an absolutely amazing chef and dinner was like a 5 star restaurant. The rooms were very large, clean, modern and functional; especially for the very reasonable price! The town of Schiltach was like a storybook, quite and very picturesque; we drove all over the area and it was by far the cutest town we saw. We will be recommending this stay to anybody who is traveling to the Black Forest and we plan to go back soon ourselves!

The Adler is an historic yet recently updated hotel. It is clean, tastefully decorated, and well-cared for. Our room was large, very comfortable and clean. We loved all the windows and the natrual light. The room rate included breakfast which was freshly prepared each morning. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent--the chef is creative and the food was fresh and delicious. The proprietors were friendly, responsive, helpful, and interested in ensuring we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is a beautiful, four hundred year old building in a village of that era, with many other restored homes. The setting is one of great natural beauty close to many locations to explore. The room itself was remodeled and updated with modern comforts, large and very clean. There were fresh tulips in a vase! Best yet, we had an outstanding dinner artfully presented in the hotel restaurant downstairs. The owner was warm and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for more!

United KingdomThe hotel is situated at a fairly busy traffic junction in the centre of the pretty large village of Schiltach. This resulted in rather a lot of traffic noise from early morning to late at night. We were also disturbed by the noise of people drinking late into the night in a house facing the hotel. This was on a Saturday night and may not be an issue at other times If we had kept our windows closed it would not have been a big problem, however it was VERY hot July weather and without a fan or Air Conditioning being provided in the room there was no other way to cool the room. We asked about a refrigerator for the room but were told by the owner this was not possible, so we could not store cool drinks. The breakfast choices were good, but being hassled on our arrival at the hotel the afternoon before, to state what we wanted the next day for breakfast, was a bit unreasonable. Also we were disappointed that Breakfast on Sunday was only available from 7am to 9am, as the hotel kitchen area would then be locked until the next morning. This was not exactly what we expected whilst on a relaxing holiday. When we said could breakfast not be a bit later the response we received from the owner was.."Go to bed earlier so you can get up in the morning"!
The breakfast choices and food served was very good also on the plus side the room we were given was very spacious and had an iron and ironing board provided which was very useful. The room decor was also very good and the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable.
