We did miss not having a kettle in the room for tea and coffee.

The hotel was very nice the staff were very friendly. Good choice and tasty breakfast . We enjoyed the spa area and seemed to be very central to all rooms. Beds were very comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.

What I didn't like was the cleanliness, and here I mean only the carpet on the floor. Very dirty, having a toddler always sitting on the floor and playing was a little disappointing. The carpet had traces of dirt, I had the double room and a carpet with yellow and some white flowers, but the color of the carpet was dirty... Otherwise, the cleanliness of the bathroom was ok, the room was vacuumed. , the dust has been cleared. A minus would be the heat...the heaters worked very little in the morning, but not in the evening.

The staff was very kind and always with a smile on their face. The beautiful view, the pool, the sauna, the massage services, everything was great. The cleanliness of the room was ok (vacuum, dust, etc.) I really like that there is a forest near the hotel that you can explore. For the family it is really a quiet and welcoming location. The food is ok. I recommend this location ❤️❤️

The balcony was insecure with access to the car park and road nearby. It stretched across all of the rooms and was not separated so there was no privacy or security. The room was very hot, even though the weather wasn't particularly warm. There was no air conditioning and because the balcony was not secure we were uncomfortable leaving the door open. The window opened slightly, but it was insufficient. This particular row of rooms may be over the kitchen, so maybe the other rooms are better. I would stay here again but definitely request a different room. The pillows were of poor quality. No kettle or fridge in the room. Communication was not great. Messages of requests for information were not responded to until after our stay.

Lovely location with great walks for dogs or rambling. The food in the restaurant was great. It's definitely worth eating there. Breakfast was very good. There was a separate area that we were able to take the dog into. The bed was comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were both cleaned to a high standard.

I asked on reception if they have sanitary pads available but unfortunately they didn’t have but she suggested me to go on the store in just few minutes away from the hotel. maybe in the future is also good for the more convenient stay of the guests if they would be have sanitary pads available even if its like in the public toilet in the reception area like a built in vendo machines for sanitary pads ☺️.

we like the nices staff, food in the restaurant, massage, facilities and etc. We stayed there during my birthday then one waiter in the restaurant always assisted us and my boyfriend ask him if he could find a candle for the cake that he ordered for dessert and luckily and without hesitation my cake arrived with candle on it! it was a comfortable stay! Kudos to all staff and workers of this Hotel.

We had the "Suite Herzogenhorn", room 139, and it was enormous. Plenty of space for my two daughters in one room, and the two of us in the other room... plus, it was right next door to the Swimming Pool / Spa area. This is my favourite hotel in Schwarzwald, we had amazing food, and it was a really relaxing break.

Bed was not very comfortable. Room was without view, looking at the other building of the hotel with cars parked directly in front of the patio. Changing room was not possible. We were told that hotel is fully booked and that we got this room because we asked for a more quiet room. This was actually true, because based on some other reviews we read that people complained about noise. Hotel is directly on the road with quite a lot of traffic.

if you book a comfort room from the pictures you want that! I had a totally a horrible experience when I saw the room!!!!! they got 2 categories of rooms and I think it should be shown on the booking.com!!!! we could fix it and the hotel help me to make a good deal and a lovely weekend!
